2002 Acura RSX Type-S. 160k miles. Desert Sand Metallic with beige interior trim. 2.0L DOHC i-VTEC 4-Cylinder engine with 6-Speed Manual transmission.

Fully-loaded with power moonroof, alloy wheels, premium leather interior trim, Bose premium sound system with 6-disc in-dash CD-changer & subwoofer, factory floor mats with "Type-S" badging, sport-tuned suspension, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, dual front, side, & curtain airbags, and keyless entry with alarm.

This Type-S has a clean title and a clean Carfax history report with no previous accidents or red flags. Other than being setup for satellite radio, it is 100% factory stock & original with ZERO aftermarket modifications. It runs great with no mechanical issues whatsoever. The motor runs strong, the transmission shifts smooth, and the clutch is literally brand new. No check engine light or emissions issues. All original paint & damage-free body with factory VIN stickers on all panels. Very clean interior with no stains, tears, or odors. Nice leathers, carpets, and interior paneling. All power options funcation properly, as does the AC. All books, records, and original paperwork are still present, including the original window sticker.

I have recently installed a brand new Exedy OEM replacement clutch kit, all new tires, and it has received a full service, including a current GA emissions. Please don't let the mileage deter you from this vehicle. Yes- the odometer shows 160k, but based on how it looks and runs, it could easily pass for 60k! It is obvious that the previous owner took very good care of this vehicle, and stayed up to date on all its maintenances. Now with a new clutch & new set of tires, this car needs nothing and is ready for the next owner to enjoy.

The older a car is, the more subjective book value becomes. 2002 model Type-S's rolled out of the factory over a decade ago. During that time, the overall condition of these cars has deviated vastly. There will be some, like mine, that are still in exceptional shape and are worth more than what the book would suggest. Likewise, there are plenty others that have been modified, wrecked, and beat on that you wouldn't give half of book value for.

At any rate- my current price is firm. It is 100% bone stock, all original paint, matching VINs on all panels, very clean inside and out, and I just installed a new OEM replacement clutch and a new set of tires in the last 100 miles. If you can find another one like it for $5,200- please let me know where it is, because I'll buy it in a heartbeat.
