Looking for a rifle

I dont know what happened to the outdoors forum, so I figure I would post up here.


Looking for a very specific gun and it has to come from an NFA dealer.

I want a thompson T1-SB. Its the short barrel that requires an NFA and all the paperwork that comes with them. Adventure Outdoors said they could order the standard barrel length rifle but not the short one. Could I just order the standard one then send it off to have the short barrel installed and complete the NFA paperwork then?
