While i'm not personally offended by Foxx's comment, i recognize how different it would be if a white person said the same comment about black people. That would ignite a race war..... while things like this used to bother me, i've pretty much accepted the reality that black people are allowed to say things we're not.

I saw the movie, and thought it was very good. There were some parts that were a bit much but overall very good. I think the only people who seem to get upset are 1) people who haven't seen it and have just heard it excessively uses racial slurs (which it does) or 2) thinks that it should be a historically correct representation of slavery.
