Happy as hell that I'm out of that place. I hope this decision will be worth it. However it was far easier than I expected, I wonder what happened? Place was soft. They weren't even allowed to call you male or female trainee, stupidest shit I've ever heard. Had alot of good times alot of fun and some shitty times. Anyone else in or out of the service? care to share your experience?

I spent 9 years in the Marine Corps. The Chair Force is in no way comparable to the Corps.

How interesting. Did I ever once compare them in my entire paragraph? Dont know where you pulled that one from. Chair force huh.

Not sure where my first duty station will be yet. I am a 1n031 or operations intelligence and am currently at goodfellow AFB be here for 6 months or so.

Coast Guard. I initially went for Navy and couldn't pass physical (because of hearing). The next year, I went back and passed for the CG. Once there, I went through another physical and failed it and was sent home. But I was sent home with that honorable discharge.

If you're a car lover and have a choice see if they'll send you to Japan, either Kadena, Yokota (My personal favorite) or Misawa. Awesome car scene, awesome culture, food, architecture, lots of awesome there. Europe would be a close second but Japan takes it for me.

oh I know it I'm anxiously waiting to hear if they'll send me to japan. I'd have to bring back a Evo 3 full of parts for my Toyota haha. I've also always wanted to go to see what its like everyone that's been there loved it.

Just graduated from Gatech yesterday, 12-15-12... I don't feel smarter yet.
irony: My pops passed away on that day exactly 2 years ago (12.15.10)... 2 weeks after he passed away was my first day of class at GT... I took every possible summer semester/etc to make up for my years of slacking and finally got school knocked out of hte way.
Not proud, but feel like a load is off of my shoulders.

Sorry about your dad.
You should be proud. GT is an outstanding school that will open up opportunities you doubt even know about yet.

So are you in Tech School right now? My AF BMT experience was fun. I was the guide on, so I didn't have any details or go on EC duty.
