It's awesome. I had fun in my G. For cars that dont make crazy power AMP > road atlanta. If I had 400+hp I'd probably find road atlanta more fun.

Very tight track, awesome for lower HP cars as mentioned, track day only track though, racing there would be extremely difficult and many clubs have cancelled events due to that. The noise issue also hurts some drivers. Beautiful setting though and a great mix of corners.

I'd still have to vote Road Atlanta though.

I ran Road Atlanta a couple of times, its a nice track. Yet, since my car is underpowered, I'm gonna have to go with AMP since its more technical. If I had a tuned K-series, then it would be a tough choice between tracks.

I thought it was very fun. I much rather have a technical track and elevation changes then fast straights any day. SUPER FUN!!!

You guys make Road Atlanta sound like a super oval. lol One long straight which just means awesome passing opportunity.

They also make it seem like RA is an easy track. Lol.

I liked AMP and enjoyed the technicality of it and I can't wait to drive road atlanta!

I'm hoping to get on AMP this year. I've been all over the net looking for a way to sign up. It doesn't look like anyone is holding a track day there. Is it just too early?

Hooked on Driving is going there in April, Porsche Club went there last year I would assume they will again this year, SCCA and NASA won't go there, I thought Chin Motorsports had it on their schedule but I guess not. I'm sure days will pop up every now and then.

Hey all - If you are looking to hit Atlanta Motorsports Park there is an Open Track Day there on 29th April - $225 for minimum 2.5 hours of actual track time! Just Track It along with e3 Storage is hosting an open track day there and anyone is free to join. Just bring a great attitude, a car that is ready to go and an SA 2005 helmet. There is a great crew that is already signed up - a slew of different BMWs, a pair of Subaru STI, several Miatas and S2000 and an EVO plus a few Vettes and even an Ferrari.

Its a really challenging and exciting track with some fun corners that will keep you interested all day.

There are a few spots that are still open. Hit me up with a pm or respond to this thread if you want additional information.
