Me and my boyfriend just got our own place this past weekend and realized that our full size bed isn't big enough for the two of us. Does anyone know if the IKEA beds are nice? They're fairly cheap and in my price range but I want it to be worth the money but not too expensive. Anyone use one or heard if they are good?

I've never gotten a bed from Ikea. But their storage cabinets have been holding up for 5 years now (with 3 kids) in my house like a boss.

I've always heard that your mattress is the piece of furniture you should spend the most money on. I'm sure you can imagine why.
That being said... go try them out at ikea. Thats really the only way you'll know for sure.

I have had two of them, one right now for 2 years, and they hold up just fine. First one was for 3 years and was sold when I sold the house.

My suggestion is to ask this question to your local furniture store.

They are awesome. I bought a foam mattress from there about 5 months ago and I love it.

I have a tempurpedic. Expensive and worth every penny. I have never slept as well as I do now and there is a very noticable difference in the quality of my sleep if I sleep anywhere but my tempurpedic.

I couldn't get with the tempurpedic. Best mattresses in the world are the ones in the high end Vegas hotels.

I couldn't get with the tempurpedics in the .
They take a little getting used to because they are so much different than a spring mattress but when you do, pure heaven.

We decided on a frame from IKEA that's under $300 but went with a mattress from a local furniture store that was about $600. It's a pillow top mattress and super soft. Ikea beds were too thin for us and I didn't like it one bit. And we got a really good deal on our mattress, 10 year warranty and free delivery.
Thanks guys!
