Thinking about relocating my battery to the hatch area (to create a more permanent home for my coolant reservoir). I know it's required to be NHRA legal, but does commerce tech require a cutoff switch? I don't really want to have that shit on the outside (or inside) of my car for the 1-2 times a year I hit the track. Thoughts? Experiences?
Looking at this for the box... Moroso : Category Display (http://www.moroso.com/catalog/categorydisplay.asp?CatCode=42001)

Yes it's required. And yes they do check! Go to Harbor freight that have a cheap one that's easy to install and unistall after a track event. Also make sure it's in a box and tied down.

Make your own box go to home depot and get some flat metal and
Some L shaped metal. And then some screws and put toghter. Very easy and cheaper :)
