Sorry to jump all in your thread, but I've got a similar question. Anyone had any experience with grip force or bahnhof clutches? Or should I just stick with what I know is decent and get an exedy?

Are f1 clutches garbage? Never run one before and was curious. I've recently learned my lesson from an xtd clutch.

Not sure about brands. but if u ever feel that you're going to make alot of hp, its better to just over-do it and get like stage 3-4. My stage 1 is starting to slip cause too much power now..

Well my last clutch was a stage 3 six Puck from xtd, if I remeber correctly, it supported about the same hp as some of the more reputable companies, but the others were only stage 1's or 2's. I'm leaning towards excedy b/c I know that they are quality, but Ill never turn away from a good alternative with a good price. With that said any one know of good bangs for the Buck, or stick with excedy?

If you want a stock-ish replacement stick with Exedy. They are high quality, and inexpensive for oem replacement. Don't get the XTD. Do a google search on them and you'll see why.

I have a stock b20 in my teggy with ls tranny but I'm going to put on a gsr head when I change the cutch out ,,,I'm not going boost or supercharging my daily anytime soon so I think a CC stage 1 should do the job ,,,
