It is getting close to that time again ladies and gentlemen. If you have not heard this event is held at Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds, GA. Event will be held Saturday October 20th, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

In honor of our 10 year anniversary we are offering $10 test-n-tune trials! As always pay outs will be based on turnouts. The event is as always hosted by Gadsm/Sedsm (same entity), and thanks to our title sponsor Topspeed Motorsports.

This event is a blast guys and it is not just about DSMs I hope the others will vouch for it. We do not profit from this event, but payout as much as possible to the racers. The goal is to have fun, bring the racing community together, and maybe make a little money if you win.

If it's tagged and insured, it's a street car. The only question then is it on street tires - DOT approved is street legal. It doesn't matter if the car is boosted or not - fast is fast.

As to track vs street:
At events like IS, the track gets prepped, so it gets better traction; however, when you have lots of street radial cars running, they kill the surface making it no different than running on a street surface.
The only real reason not to run on the track is because you plan to jump the start and the track would red light you OR you plan to jump out first then hit the brakes before the end to claim that you won. Either way, it only makes sense to insist on the street when you have a track so readily available if you plan to try to cheat.

It would have been a close race before I figured out what was wrong. Car is fixed and will atleast hit low 12s now. If I drop the ebrake. I had a blast , bobby had a blast and nothing got messed up to bad . So it was a good day even though we didn't race. He doesn't have much to do and it would be a hell of a race . His car is running good.

12.7 off the trailer, then 12.6, and backed that with another.. Then shifter broke after 1st round, people ask why I was playing around but I wasn't, I was lucky to even have made the final... :crazy:
