So what do you think about Victor Hill being Sheriff of Clayton County? Kind of funny him being the Sheriff despite His record. Do you think him being black had anything to do with it? I hate using the race card but in this case case it seems a little evident. The guy has been charged with some serious crimes but yet become Sheriff. So the Sheriff should be catching bad guys and putting them in jail yet he is one himself. so fucked up in many ways

The people that voted will get what they deserve, a crook that has and will use his office to enrich himself at the county's expense.

Two questions.

1. How is it "evident" that being black had something to do with it?
2. Do you have any idea who is competitor was?

1. Only black ppl would vote for VH. Very Evident!

2. A black man more or less no different than VH.

Ok. So the answer question to the second completely voids question number one. Makes the "evident" comment look kind of ridiculous. Later, QD.

Kem Kimbrough was a pretty good Sheriff. Being that he worked the worst County besides Dekallb. Kem had a pretty good record, no reason to vote him out. and if you watch some of the interviews with Victor you hear him talking about making sure his "brothers" and "sisters" need to vote for him.

I'm still not sure what you mean by "evident" being the reason he got elected. If you mean he it was evident a black man would get voted in since there were two black men running, of course. But I've got a hunch that you weren't looking at it that way. But I see your statement being completely race inspired.

If I were still in ClayCo, I wouldn't have voted for Hill. Later, QD.

Crooks will vote for crooks. Evident enough?

I think you're completely misunderstanding what the OP's intentions were, sir. He's saying it was "evident" he was voted in because he was black. I'm guessing he had no idea that his opponent is also black. Later, QD.

Hill was a good sheriff during his term but he made some very poor choices during his reign. Now that he has 37 indictments pending against him, I don't see this working out in his favor at all.

I'll agree with you on this, Bacon. He was a good Sheriff, "In the media's eyes". But he also did a lot of crooked shit during his tenure of being sheriff.

OP knew VH's opponent was black. He also commented on Kem Kimbrough. Read previous post from OP.

I think you just repeated what I said using different words.

He was a good sheriff in more than just the media's eyes. Look at all the drugs he pulled off the streets of Clayton County. Lots of CC residents are thankful for that and like him for that.

I'm not sure if he knows Kem is black or not. he never answered that. Not only does that make his comment (about "eveident" being black) voidable, but none of this (what you're posting) is answering why it's so "evident." Later, QD.

IMO, with Clayton County being populated majority black and Kembrough being black, the win wasn't racially motivated. Regardless of his indictments, he is by law still not a criminal until it goes to trial. Until then, his biggest goal is getting his POST certification back which he has to have before being sheriff again.

Victor Hill has much to overcome before becoming Clayton County sheriff again L| ajc.com (http://www.ajc.com/news/georgia-politics-elections/victor-hill-has-much-1504235.html)

Until January 1st, Kembrough is still the sheriff and may or may not retain that position.

That's not it. It has nothing to do with the population. How can it possibly be racially motivated when both people were the same race??!!!?? It makes no sense. Later, QD.

That's what I am saying, Mike. It wasn't racially motivated because they are both black even though CC is majority black.

I left out a word with my last post.

Wasn't trying to copy and paste your statement. But I don't consider nickel and dime bag drugs off the street. Violent crime was rising during his 4 years.

Violent crimes rising during his reign was coincidental. Take a lot of drugs off the street....people get angry....angry people shoot other angry people.

If the DEA classifies any amount of marijuana, cocaine, heroin, etc a drug, it's a drug off the streets regardless of the amount.

Kembrough has been black since birth. Don't think he did a color change just to be sheriff.

All crime has been rising for about the last 15 years in ClayCo. Not just during Hill's term.

That's what makes no sense, my man. If both participants are black, how is there a racial motivation behind the election? Later, QD.
