I've got a (mostly) stock Nissan 240sx with a SR20 Redtop swapout. Stock turbo, stock Intercooler, no BOV or any sort of upgraded fuel delivery or management or anything running 7 to 9 PSI. Is is possible to simply increase the boost the stock components produce? Is there a switch or knob to turn or setting to manipulate? Is this a good idea? Engine only has 65k on it. I realize I'm showing my ignorance, but, fuck it, I gotta ask.

all you need is this: MANUAL TURBO BOOST CONTROLLER CIVIC DEL SOL PRELUDE CRX | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/MANUAL-TURBO-BOOST-CONTROLLER-CIVIC-DEL-SOL-PRELUDE-CRX-/280531575413?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4150fc2275&vxp=mtr#ht_3339wt_1136)

and you can turn it up to 11-12 PSI without any other changes. That is actually what it's supposed to run stock, but I'm guessing you didn't get the turbo solenoid with the swap. If the vac is hooked directly to the wastegate, it'll stop spooling at ~7psi.
