Sadly a few weeks ago my ep3 was totaled by a truck. So I went out and bought a new car. Originally wanted a newer si civic but I found this and love it! '04 Audi a4 ultra sport package. V6 awd, 6spd, and every option offered for the a4 in '04.

So far only plans are some tein springs and wheels! :)

Dope. Car looks clean. I got some new 20x9.5 BBS CKs that I bought for my b5 that I didn't end up using if you want to roll hard.

nice! i have a 1.8t avant (wagon)...looks-wise you can go a lot of different directions with these cars. once u drop the car it'll look great with the wheels you have, or you can go staggered like i did. have fun with it...

It will be awhile before wheels. I do want to drop it first. No slamming though. I got tired of scraping on everything. Lol

They're just plain, dull and boring (especially that color). I would add that they are also everywhere you look, but so are some wheels that look good. Later, QD.

I wouldn't waste my money on rims. the ones you have are really nice. spend the money on a nice milltek exhaust instead. 3.0 sounds good with a nice quality exhaust.

you might want to hop on the audi forums and see what suspension they recommend run...i dont think Tein are a 'top notch' selection for German made cars

I agree with you there, but I saw quite a bit of people using h-techs, one of main reasons I looked them up. Even the guy I bought the car from had a bnib set at his house he never put on.

Go with the millteck exhaust. had one on my TT, sounded great. But yea I wouldn't go crazy with lowering it. just go with a nice set of H&R springs which will lower it pretty nice but will ride soo much better too. there is nothing worse than seeing a nice audi riding so low it becomes useless

Before doing any mods, have it checked over thoroughly to see what current issues the car has and see if you have any money left over. Like DigiPix already mentioned, don't look at shitty ass Tein springs. H&R & Eibach a lot better of a spring.

Nicole.
08-13-2012, 08:21 PM
I'm going to look more into the H&R springs. Appreciate the comments and criticism! And yes I'm wanting to get it looked at soon. It shows no problems on the service check but you never know.

I'll most likely check it out at my job. I have a scanner that could get into just about anything. No not that $50 bullshit at AutoZone. Lol

Very nice upgrade. I've been shopping around for a avant for myself. The 3.0 is a very good DD car. Most people just put an intake and exhaust and call it a day. Just remember you went from a Honda to an Audi. The parts prices went with that jump. A decent exhaust will run you between 1300 and 1600. I have an awe exhaust on my s4 and it has a great sound. Vmr wheels are a really good brand. They seem to cater well to the Audi world. Most people run coilovers but a good price is around 900. Keep it clean!

Been awhile since I've posted! Have done some maintenance recently. Has a new fuel pump and crank positioning sensor, which I found out was going bad the hard way. It's been great other than those two issues. I got a good deal on H-techs so I went with them until I can afford some good coilovers. The wheels are Voxx Maglia's 17x8 +38. That's about it since I've had it. :)

nice car but the problems is just gonna keep coming i would say save your money for when it breaks down again because next it's going to be the ignition coils then the speed sensor.been there done that

Those new wheels arent bad, but they are a downgrade over the stock wheels. The stock wheels looked very good. Mesh style wheels work on an audi, but you need to go much bigger. Here's 19s.

sorry but the stock wheels looked a lot better. a classy car should stay classy. I drive a completely stock benz and get more compliments than than the guy with dubs on the benz. btw if its a 3.0 it will run good for a long time. 1.8t not soo much. change timing belt at 60k just to be safe.

That's because Honda drivers like to put HIDs in halogen housings, I'm sure with projectors you could barely see right in front of you at night with pink HIDs. I think pink HID temp is like 10,000k, that's no where near the brightest temp 4300k.
