So after picking up some 15x8 +35 offset Rota RB's with 195/45's I needed to go lower to fill in some tire/fender gap!
Enjoy :D

After adjusting suspension: "pic heavy"
BTW, I daily drive this low with my wife & 2 kids & no camber kits needed....

Lol I'm not a huge fan either but its a simple test run of what I can fit before I get the wheels I really want!

It's actually impractical now. But it doesn't look ridiculous like an "offset" car. I honestly liked it better in the first pic where it didn't look raked. Later, QD.

I'm going to have to agree with QD. It looks like all you did was lower the front, but it looked much better the way it was. There's no need to need to get rid of every molecule of tire gap and then some..

The "before" looked better to me (oddly enough), but i think it's only becuz the after exaggerates how badly you need spacers :goodjob: car still looks good tho........minus the wheels

Even at the "after" ride height, spacers are not needed. Especially in the back. But I'm torn on the wheels. While I think these wheels look great on classics, they look odd on newer looking cars. This car pulls it off well enough, though. Later, QD.

Thanks for the input & oddly enough the car isn't raked like y'all think it is, my driveway has this odd slant & for some reason the pics always seem to show it. Like I said I'm not keeping the wheels, but for now they will work just fine!

A friendly word of advice from a former hatch owner would be to take 30 mins and tend to that front bumper/panel/headlight/corner-light fitment. That will make or break a car in my book... and EH's seem to be the biggest culprit of them all. With that said, I actually like the wheels in relation to how they fit on the car. The only thing holding you back is that knock-off lip. A OEM EX/SI lip would look a lot neater than what you have now. Also, I really enjoy the unpainted side skirts and door mouldings. Does a good job of breaking up the loud red. But what do I know? Do what makes you happy.
And to all those saying the height is "impractical," if he still has that much mud flap (as seen in the last picture), he's not nearly as low as the pictures indicate.

I totally agree with the alignment of the front bumper/panel/headlight/corner light is my next focus cause they have lined up all that great since ive had the eg & its getting on my nerves.... The OEM Lip is what I'm looking to trade my Mugen Replica Lip for.... As for Mud-Flaps I'm dragging them like crazy & wearing them down because I don't want to have to cut them, if I drag them down the road to file them down like I am I'm cool with it, lol.

A friendly word of advice from someone who has being doing this for as long as you've been out of the womb, I stand by my "impractical" comment. And I don't say it because I think it's stupid. I've had cars lower than the one he has now. I know what impractical is. I didn't say it as an insult. I said it because it's fact. From experience. Later, QD.

The way it sat in the first picture was great, however, it's your car so do what you like. I would recommend new wheels and a different lip. What you have now simply doesn't look good to me.

the car looks good, but it is a little too low for me. My car is slightly lowered and it kills me hearing it scrape lol. But I love the rims on the car!

I could see the rear getting away with out spacers, but b/c of that natural camber in the front it looks like the wheels are set too deep in the well for me. I'm not saying go "herrafrush", but just to eliminate some the that horizontal gap. As for the wheels, agreed, these look great on classics, ......but not so much here, imo. better than lime green rotas,:goodjob: but still not quite "it"

I wasn't criticizing the fact that you think it's impractical man, I was just stating that I've seen cars where the flaps were almost worn up to the side skirts, which at that point, is ridiculously impractical... At the height he's at, he should still have enough strut travel to still feel like he has suspension. I agree, at that height, most general "practicality" as a normal functioning car goes out the window... However, at a comparative standpoint, it's not as bad as some I've seen.

I could see the spacer to push the wheel out just to match the rear wheel.

He did mention, after my last post, that he is scraping the mudflaps like crazy, lolol. I'm assuming this has just been done. Later, QD.

Yes suspension was just adjusted this past Monday.... I'd run like a 5-10mm spacer but I don't want the tire rubbing the fenders in anyway, right now I still have full turn capabilities w/o rubbing & that's the way I'd like to keep it so I don't chew up tires.....
