I am just wanting to know why are the stock honda wheels so expensive all of a sudden? example ls mesh, fat fives, blades.

back two years ago i left the honda scene and fat fives and meshes were 250-300 with tires (you can google ls meshies and there is one from IA 2years ago for these prices) now people are wanting 300 with no tires and 400+ for them with tires.

And rotas use to be $400 dollars with good treaded tires and now they are $500+ without tires wtf!!!

I understand supply and demand and the economy but wtf..... is it just people think they have gold?

If someone could give me some insight on this because for what some people are asking for there stock honda wheels that have been curb i could go get some new dr20's and add some cheap tires for the same price!

Mods-If this is not the right place please move.

Its called hustle. You'll be surprised on how much money Noobs will spend on the ls meshies or si's or blades. Reason for that is they dont know the value of things since they probably just started driving and they see their friend modding their car so they want to do likewise, and they end up getting screwed over.

Funny thing yesterday I purchased some si's in good condition for $150 with like 30% thread left the guy wanted 300 before we met. We had agreed to do $250 bc i didnt know the condition of the tires. Well i pull up tires were garbage like i said 30% less or maybe a little more so i ended up getting him to drop the price to $150 people are stupid when it comes down to selling things you just have to be the smarter person and make the right choice.

here is one example of them being a Really good price.....i thought maybe i was just getting good deals or just getting older and tripping but then google confirmed the prices from 2 years ago..... I just can understand i am looking at some rotas for $400 that have nothing for tread so by the time i buy tires i will be at 650+ might as well spend another $50 dollars for new rims!!! and get them from a company

Agreed. An OEM wheel should be worth more than a POS Rota any day of the week. There's nothing wrong with the price, the problem is they were too cheap to begin with!

Silversol Calm down I understand at Honda the price.....they are NEW!!! Like I said but if they have seen every curb between my house and the hooker's house down the street why in the he'll would any one want them for the same price!!! That's all I am getting at like you said everyone wants something fornothing but why does everyone think they have gold when they have dogshit!? All I am asking is why the price increase?????.....and if I don't like the deal I will not buy them

2004 civic rims(FAT FIVES) for sale with excellent NT450 tires (http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/honda-acura-parts-sale/758310-2004-civic-rims-fat-fives-sale-excellent-nt450-tires.html). Here is another one with good tires 300 not a bad deal at all.

FS: Fat Fives 250 or best offer [Archive] - Tampa Racing (http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-750236.html)... 250 with 50% tread on tires.

GSR Fat Fives $250 - Honda-Tech (http://hondamarketplace.com/showthread.php?t=3010380). Another one 250 not sure if tires were included

.... Not trying to bust anyone's balls here just stating facts....and you can say that these are in different states I just googled fat five for sale 250 and these are what popped up that were relatively close to us and two of them are not even a year old.

Silversol i understand where you are coming from because i assume from what i have read in the past you use to be/still are a bussiness man....i am just asking have they became just that popular on IA.? or are they getting harder to find because people bending them in wrecks?

and my brother picked me up a set last night in orlando for $250 with tire (the tires are dry rotted yet they are tire. lol all i need them for is to roll a car in and out of my shop at the moment)
