You won't have any luck since the all the 12's that released this yr sold out in a day or 2, hell I was lucky enough to get my playoff 12's. Stood in line at 5am and got the last pair of 11.5's. No 13's will retro this yr so u gonna have to get both from private sellers. Check out Solecollector. Com look in the market place section, FYI all these guy are serious sneaker heads so the prices will be fair but firm no low balling on that site.

Allow me to preface this post with a nod towards not being offensive with my question.

What is the purpose of shelling out that kind of money on shoes? Why do you need that many shoes? I'm assuming you never wear them, yes? Is it an investment?

I realize it is maybe a hobby like collecting stamps or baseball cards or something. The only collections I've ever had could be made with items pretty much under $20. If I spend $100 or more on something, I'm going to use it til it falls apart. Again, I'm not meaning to insult anyone. I'm just curious. Later, QD.

For me is more of a hobby/collection.. I have over 50 pair of sneakers.. 85% I don't wear. Some I wear seldomly.. I mostly wear, slippers and flip ons.. And dress shoes for work..

I will be honest why I like collecting shoes and watches ( over 30 watches ) .. Growing up my parents could not afford some of these things.. My freshman year I played with a pair of sneakers called " Voit " or some name like that.. My feet would hurt like hell.. But I would play through the pain.. My teammates had decent sneakers and some of would have the latest J's... I won't lie.. I was jealous.. It sucked.. Not so much becuase of the brand, but the fact that I never said anything when I was in pain.. One time I did, and my teammates made fun of me.. " cheap ass shoes " lol.. They were right.. But thats all my parents could afford. Sophmore year I didnt play.. Years later i bought some J's.. Jordan 13's.. Most confortable sneakers ever.. At that time I really didnt play anymore, just bought them to try it out.. Ever since then, I've been buying J's.. Not as some people do.. But 1 or 2 pairs a year..I guess what Im really saying is, now that I can afford it.. Ill buy it... When I have friends over, i showed them my collection and they dont believe it.. Why ? I rarely wear them.. And some of them tell me is not my style.. I tell them, they are right.. But I do it for self gratification I guess.. And even maybe It makes me think of that Freshman year... Every pair of shoes I own have been worn at least once (lol I know that's not a lot) with the exception of my Jam Master J edition shell toe Adidas. I wear boots everyday for work so most of my shoes are worn on saturday or sunday and thats if i decide to go anywhere, i spend most of my time at home with the wife & daughter so a lot of time may pass in between wears. I have a few pairs of "beaters" that i wear on the regular but they are in really good condition compaired to some other peoples shoes.

Collecting Shoes has always been hobby of mine and I have made a lot of money back in the day reselling certain pairs of shoes. I have always had a passion and love for fashion, even though I've never cared to be a designer or anything like that but I always wanted to look my best and look "presentable" so to speak. Growing up my mom always said dont go out the house looking like someone left u somewhere. Cuz u never know who u might run into that could offer u an opportunity that would of passed u by otherwise. Now I know u can look presentable buying cheaper items, but I always liked nice quality shoes and clothes cuz I was just brought up wearing nice clothes and shoes. They weren't as expensive as some might be now but they're still nice quality, I never understood people wearing shoes with holes in them and worn past the rubber sole. Most people I see doing it are more then capable of buying another pair of shoes too, if ur too broke to buy another pair that's understandable but most just rather look bummy.

I never buy when I cant afford though, I refuse to live paycheck to paycheck over some shoes or clothes and the same goes for car parts. I make sure my bills and family are taken care of and I make sure I have money put away before I buy $150 pair of sneakers, if I know a pair of shoes are coming out at the end of the month I will usually take $50-$75 a paycheck to pay for the shoes instead of spending the whole $150 from one check.

I look at my shoe collection as some people might look at car parts, some rather have Rotas and some rather have Spoon. Id rather have Spoon... Just all personal preference

I love 12s and 13s a lot too, but my favorite of all jordans 1-14, have to be the 3s. I'm a retro guy when it come to Jordans, so 1-14 is all I will wear. I not real big on any shoe after that. Especial all the retros that they are putting the Air Force 1 sole underneath, just completely ruined the show, I understand that they are trying to reach out to a different market, but there's some things u just don't do and and Air Force 1 sole on the bottom of a retro Jordan is on the top of that list lol.

Nah that pic was taken in my old house. I'm having a built in shoe cabinet installed in my closet. I love shoes probably as much as a woman does, specifically Supra's. Those were literally my downstairs pairs lol. I keep a few basic colors down and in my closet i have a plethra of colors that I only wear on occassion. My fave though are the blue ones with the yellow laces. Reminds me of WRC shoes (which Im looking for).

Got my Nike id's back from Nike since this is the second pair, I had to send back the first pair cuz the quality was horrible. Nike put a rush on the remake and they came back in 3 weeks, this time they were flawless. I was so excited I decided to wear them today...

Yes they really did, I was kinda pissed but after calling and talking to the lady bout the shoe she was very understanding and willing to take care of it immediately. She email'd me a shipping label for over night shipping through UPS, and called me 3 days later telling me they qualified for a remake and they would be put on rush status. Shoes came back in 3 weeks from the date I shipped, couldn't of been more happy with there customer service.

Slang has defiantly changed Ive been a sneaker head since I was 16 and that was 03-04, and the lingo has certainly changed. I've been out for 3yrs and just got back in june of last yr, and it's a bit different now. I remember being able to go to the mall at 12 in the afternoon and shoes still be available, now u gotta camp out and get p 10hrs before the mall opens to try and get a pair of J's. This yr has been rediculess when it comes to exclusive shoe releases, prices are getting a bit out of hand as well, I think I'm got to stop buying J' and just start getting back into AirMax 90's and other trainers/running shoes. Resellers have completely ruined the shoe game in the last 2yrs...

I never let retro J's slide when I see them after the release date, last time I did that was on the true blues and I've been regretting it ever since, I'm still on the hunt for a pair for the right price. I meet up with a dude Friday from Solecollector to buy some Olympic 6's and the dumb ass sold the size 11.5 and brought a size 11 with him. I only rock AirMax 90's and 95's the newer models are the cost of J's and are not as comfortable. But the 90's are by far the most comfortable shoes I own next to my Freerun's, I wore a pair this weekend at Import Alliance and my feet we're never uncomfortable or aching. FYI most older AirMax's (97 & down) run a little small so I recommend purchasing a 1/2 size bigger.

sometime i wish i had small feet cuz those are the shoes that usually get left behind when a hot shoe release comes out. theres been so many times id got to the mall at 4am and the lady be passing out tickets and ask who wears a 8 or 9, when the space jam 11's came out i was only able to get a size 8 and couldnt find anyone that wanted to trade for an 11.5 so i had to resell, i made a nice chunk of change but i really wanted the shoes more then the money i made. :(

I hadn't heard of it but that would be stupid since they wouldnt be able to sell over the $160 retail price and would loose money in the end. Let's do the math, J's are $171.20 with tax so $171.20x2=$342.40
The pack is going for $350+tax=$374.50 I doubt anyone will take the Risk of splitting the pack especially if Nike finds out there selling over retail & splitting up the packs, which they will since someone like me would snitch in a heart beat lmao

I missed out on my 2nd GMP cuz some cunt reseller in front of me got the last size 11, bitch wouldn't even trade me the 9.5 ticket I had. So I gave it to a kid behind me that needed a 9.5 and wasn't a reseller. I was so pissed cuz I was camping at south lake mall since 12am. U can't tell but there's 2 cunt resellers sleeping ontop of a sheet covered by another sheet, apparently these dumbasses didn't know u could bring chairs. Lmfao!!!!

I will admit this was my first and probably last camp out, I had a good time and people there were all cool as hell, I think I slept for maybe 2 hrs and was BS'ing the rest of the time. It was fun I must say but I didn't come out with wat I really wanted.

They run tru to size IMO. I bought the Floridians this week, i went with a size 12. I could have gone with 11.5. I wear a 12 in LBJ 9s, so......They arent as narrow IMO.

Best thing to do is go try on what they have at Footlocker first IMO.

I passed on the Thunders and Bred 11 since I have a pair of OG Breds. I really wanted those Stealth Foams but it looks like I'm wearing space boots when I had my eggplant & electrolime foams. CG9s will be my last cop for a while, I gotta get focused on my race car and getting a house, it sucks cuz of all the heat that will be dropping in 2013. :(

Yes, I have no sneaker connects @ all! I wait in line/camp out w/ my small crew of friends. We're not loyal to any store or mall b/c sometimes that one places doesn't get a shoe. So we check during the week on who's actually getting the shoe, how many pair, are they doing tickets beforehand...all that new age CRAP! We look out for each other. I WISH I had a connect or could afford the online rapings of these hypebeasts! Just a regular, broke sneakerhead.
