so i heard that the flush headlights on the miata are really for show and dont really provide that light, any thoughts?

I had a set... Never hooked them up to see the difference in light output, I just didn't liked the way they looked. I've heard the same complaint, but if you convert to HID's it should eliminate that problem. Mine were already converted, but again... Test fit one, didn't like.

I like the pop ups more, it's a classic look these days.

Your best bet would be a low-profile pop-up with a projector low beam. if you're looking for style and function.
The one-piece kits won't have the best beam pattern because of the position of the lights, even with a projector/HID setup.

I think it depends on the actual light buckets that you get. I think it could look good, but Echonova, you're right. Those that you test-fitted look kind of bad.

yea now that i see it from that angle it does look pretty bad. i have thought bout doing the low-profile but i never had a car with pop-ups, til now, to figure out how to do that im pretty sure its not hard to do. can anyone help me out on this note?
