Ok, so sorry about the change of gears. Turns out I don't have the money to complete my b-swap:cry:. so I'll be selling it and rebuilding the Zc.


Asking price is: $1500


The B16a2 will come with its transmission, wiring harness, ecu, distributor, alternator, starter, and half-shaft.
it is almost a full swap.


B-series info
I have no idea what kind of shape this engine is in internally, I have never had it installed or taken it apart. I purchased it used. However, I have done several things around the exterior of this engine as the list follows.


New:
New but rewired distributor
New oil pan
New hoses
New thermostat
customized Valve cover
Lightweight flywheel
Blox racing, tps sensor


Bad:
Missing crank pulley
needs a clutch
transmission has a busted bell housing.


Bell housing comment:
I suspect it was curbed, as the comment above I don't have history on this engine past the fact that the previous owner wrecked the car.

I have no reason to steal from people, and the vins are going up as I reply to this as promised , I've never run them either.

I sold my complete perfectly running b16 swap for 1,500 even let the guy drive it first. That's computer ,mounts ,cv joints complete swap and you want 1,700 for a incomplete swap with a motor you know nothing about and a busted tranny ? Then you put come on guys honest sale lol. What's honest about it ? That of you fuck somebody you did it honestly or that you honestly didn't know you was fucking somebody ?

What's honest about it? Well the fact that I'm being honest about it for one. I bought this engine from a guy named Noah about a year ago all I know is he wrecked the car. Its not stolen and the trans took a nasty bump. I myself have not been into its internals. I don't care what you sold yours for this isn't your engine, unless you would like to buy it. That's up front and honest. Thanks for checking out the thread though.

I can vouch for Mike, reason because i sat in the car that he speaks of and boy was it a monster....2 hours later as the motor was pulled in my face, i took it home for the 1500 and have loved it since i bought it back in december.

Good luck with sale but do be mindful what other "FULL" swaps go for i.e. B20 Full Swap (~1000), LS Full Swap (~1000), GSR Full Swap (1500), B16 Full Swap (~1500)


Then again its your UNKNOWN longblock and busted tranny your selling for the price that one could acquire a full swap.

That's cool, But without a transmission "almost everywhere" usually other than IA. This engine without a transmission will run you $1500-2000, and that's used. To be honest I don't see where just because someone would like to pay less I should drop my price. Its worth every bit of 1500 even given the condition, and as the pictures show given a little dust its incredibly clean. Speaking on the note of "full swaps" minus, exhaust manifold, crank pulley, axles, and some trans work it is a "full swap". Unless someone just wants to argue, the fact of the matter is those few things are not hard to come across. So the trans is has a busted case, think about it like you get free guts for later projects. Thank you for the insight but the price will not drop lower than 1500. I really think that's fair.

As I've said already, "I honestly have not ever installed, or taken it apart further than the valve cover I simply don't have the funds to finish".

nobody is being a dick here just stating facts . now its not a complete swap tranny is only good for parts for later projects ? which one is it ? easy fix are good for later parts project . 1,500-2,000 for just a b16 motor? are you kidding man . Ten years ago when swaps starting coming from japan i was buying b16 long blocks from best japs for 650 lol. What you have is worth a grand on the high . Im not suprised it hasnt sold but i guess we see who is right if i wasnt it would have sold by now . I can buy eg hatches with b16 running for 2,500 all day look around . 300 for busted tranny ? lol Good luck i want thread jack no more ill let the fact that no one will buy this speak .

Again with the negative comments, I'll say this one more time you don't have to buy it. But to satisfy your needs, had you read it correctly, you would have realized I meant if you do not want to fix the transmission I'm sure its good for later projects. I have multiple offers on the transmission it will probably be gone within a few days for $300. The engine is up for sale on ebay for $1500 not 1500-2000 as you've stated. On top of this just because I know you won't bother to look today is its last day up. There are 3 bids over 400 views and 4 people watching. Every other b16 on ebay is priced higher than mine. If you have connections to get these things cheaper I applaud you and I appreciate the criticism, I really do. However I will not drop my price when it lists nearly everywhere for $2000+. Would you rather me post here and Lie to You and everyone else and say Its perfect or would you rather I be an Honest human being and say I'm not sure the condition of the internals? Do you know any different when you buy a junkyard motor or even a used one offline what the actual condition is? I have been as honest about this as I can be I simply want to start a different project. I'm not here to take advantage of people I'm here for the same reason everyone else is. We like what we do.
