4) 12A rotary engine pulls strong, idles smoothly, no oil or coolant leaks, normal oil consumption, consistently returns 22-23 mpg.

5) Recently rebuilt Nikki carburetor with reconditioned and fully functioning rat's nest returns excellent fuel economy and throttle response.

9) Five-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly and runs quietly. LSD rear axle is in good shape, no whines or grinds. Recent gear oil changes for both.

10) Stock alloy wheels have been reconditioned with new black accent paint and clear coat. Tires are Kumho Solus R21 Touring All-season with about 50% tread remaining.

Hey Michael, good to hear from you! The Silver One has been good to me, she's given me lot's of trouble free miles since we put her on the road a couple years ago.

But I've decided it would be a lot safer and more comfortable to start doing my 110 mile a day daily commute in a more modern car with AC and air bags, not to mention $1,500 a year saved in fuel costs. So I just bought a brand new Skyactive Mazda3 iTouring, 38 mpg, smooth as a Cadillac and handles like a sports car.

And another (maybe better reason from some folks perspective) is that my rotary days are not done. I still have another really nice FB project to put together from a nice clean roller I picked up last fall and a couple sheds worth of parts. This will be another White One, a lot like the White One I had before I switched to the Silver One.

I am forever addicted to rotaries, especially 12A's, and that urge to have another to kick around in should make sure the White One Two project is ready to go in the next few months, better than ever!

Incidentally, when I put the Silver One up on Ebay last night I got a free Autocheck report (VIN#JM1FB3315F0856493) that shows I really am only the third owner and it has a score that is "in range" with an overall score of 28.

Time for you to get back into a rotary, don't you think?

Thanks, I'll hate to see her go and I'm not going to drive her again before the sale because I'm worried I might change my mind. But I have too many cars right now and I want to focus on my other project, the 84 GS I'm turning into a GSL. The Silver One makes a great commuter in Atlanta traffic, that's what I've been using her for, kind of like a "beater" with a soul and good looks added in.

My first hope is that someone in the Atlanta area gets her and brings her to our monthly OGTA meetings!

The Silver One has a new owner, look for her roaming the streets of Atlanta.
