XBOX Madden 2006

I just got the game, and Im trying to make Vick run the ball.. does anyone know how to make him do this? I hold the A buttond down, but that doesnt seem to turn off the passing mode, and nowhere in the book does it tell you how to make him the runner :confused:

In Madden 06 there is no button... it's always on, you can use the sprint button like always, no need to bring down the passing icons... pretty sure atleast, it's been a lil while since I've played 06.

There has to be a way to do this. Every football game has a button to press that makes the QB tuck it and run. When I run Vick to the left he can run, but if I try to go straight up the middle or to the right he only runs sideways in passing form and he cant run.

So I cant tap it. I have to hold it? What I see sucks is this years Madden doesnt have the way to make the player run with any extra speed or with actual player speed like the other versions had and all other games have. Vick and Dunn run slow as fuck in this game

Oh and just be glad you didnt pay 500-600 hundred to buy and play madden on 360... Cus it sucks.

...Not that I did..... But I have a friend who did and it was very disappointing....

What are you referring to as a "power run"? Do you mean a shoulder charge? if so, that is just up on the right analog stick. If you mean sprint, just HOLD A... it works. Vick isn't that slow in the game, he's rated at what? 90-91? Thats pretty close, he's about the same as MOST rb's, in real life and in the game. My only complaint about the game is how they are yet to have true shoulder charge in the game... The last game that had it that I know of is NFL2k3 and GOD it was fun being Jerome Bettis is just running the fuck over DB's, but nooooo now you just gotta juke your self out of your own shoes... /end rant.

I had the common sense to do that on day #1, just doesnt say anything about the power boost that it had in every other year and every other football game
