View Full Version : Local shop to rebuild fuel lines?

Car is '92 Jaguar XJS 5.3L V12. No mechanical modifications to speak of.

I'm planning to replace 2 fuel lines/hoses in the engine compartment and 2 fuel lines/hoses that run from the tank to the under body fuel lines. Each of these are a combination of fuel hose and metal lines, with ferrules attaching the hoses to the lines.

Due to fuel odors that are common with the XJS, I want to use the lowest permeation fuel hose, like the new Gates barricade hose, rather than buy the oem Jaguar parts (some of which are not readily available anyway and the ones that are don't seem to be low permeation FI hose).

Does anyone know of a local Atlanta shop that would rebuild the fuel lines, preserving the metal ferrules, etc. There is an online source but I'd prefer to use a good local shop if possible. This is a job I'd rather leave to an expert. I've read it might take using a torch to get all the old rubber hose out of the existing fittings.

Thanks for any input.
