NEED HELP WITH PLS! MY DA FRont BRAKES LOCKING UP.

Pls some one help me, my car is driving me insane 4 the past week. Ok I just bought a 4dr acura integra ls 5spd. It was driving good for that first hour, untill I notice I was bogging pretty bad and losing alot of horsepower. @ that same time my brake padle stiff up and hard. All dat happening my front brake was locking,and eatting my rotor. Pls someone help me.

yeah try and do the brakes. Most likely your caliper is frozen so you wont be able to push it back to put new pads in.

Before jumping all over buying a new caliper have you correctly bled the brake system?


And the bogging- is that an engine bog or is it a locked up brake caliper making it seem as though it was bogging?

if its eating his rotor (or pads), what seems logical? if his system wasnt bled proprly, his pedal wouldnt be stiff and he'd have more issues trying to come to a stop and a falling pedal
