Link isn't working for me, but I highly doubt that's true. lol

It should be a felony if you're part of the Occupy movement though.

Its a felony if you protest when the secret service is present - So its not felony to protest just a felony when secret service is present. Not sure if i like it or not but lets atleast state the facts and not a general statement. And FYI, whether Obama gets another term or not - there will be another president after him so i guess you'll be his bxxxx - does that make it better for you?

In the end... This is the beginning of the limitation of your rights. If we can stop/reverse the law NOW we can stop future candidates from abusing/ mistreating our rights.

Understand that in the first amendment it states Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech - It is now abridged.

It allows the secret service to determine where there are 'NO FREE SPEECH ZONES". If you need me to break it down for you... Yes you can still protest, but if an agent approaches and says you can not demonstrate here, then you can't (Eventually your words/speech/opinion will be TOO FAR to get your message out).

HAHAH Im not in the U.S. ATM and plan on staying out of the U.S. for good... so yeah... You are still his bitch and for the upcoming elected officals you will still be their bitch.

Like i said above... Not sure if i like the fact that this was passed but if your going to post something - then post the true details because in the first post it sounds like the " Oooo Obama did this... Obama did that" spill. Instead of u posting what actually happened because I can already see people to lazy to watch the video will go around for the rest of there life telling there family Obama took away free speech instead of what really just happened. You filling like just because he passed this it will lead to all free speech being removed is just your theory - not facts.
So... If your not in U.S. then your really someone else's Bxxxx - more so then we are here, lol

i wish i could live in a world where i woke up to eat a meal that government selected for me based on my nutritional needs, sat on a couch in a house that they assigned to me with SQ footage based on what they feel i need for the size of my family, then when it was time to go to work i could get in a car that they approved for me to buy based on my estimated travel needs, with home/life/car/health insurance that they require me to purchase. Would be even better if rather than collecting a paycheck, i just received the things i would need directly from the government since they should own all of the corporations anyways. Maybe once a month you get a little care package of government approved reading material, movies and misc items. That would be awesome!!!!!!

This is what you guys want right??? That's your dream life right black people???? Sure seems that way from your voting record.

Black people always vote democrat. 96% of black people voted for Obama. Will be the same this time around. Traditionally black party + black candidate...... the 4% who didnt vote for Obama probably checked the wrong box on accident or couldnt read.

Sure, just seemed kinda tangential to the topic at hand. Why not callout college kids too since they overwhelmingly vote democratic? Not trying to derail the original conversation, just seemed odd you singled out one group for voting democratically.

You sound ignorant!!! - And i assume your talking to all the WHITE people who voted for Obama to make him president also right????????

+ since you made this a black thing.. look at the U.S. Census Bureau website and review the real fact.. You think that out of the 12.6% of blacks in the US we made the deciding factor over 72.4% WHITE AMERICANS??????? I'm glad Obama is president but if you want to fuss and get all pissy - It was more White american's that voted for Obama then black american. I'm actually bi-racial and don't have a problem with black or white president i just hate how so many people hate this man and blame him for everything like he is the only one making the decisions. The same reason your making the idiot comments is the same reason you don't like the president - IT'S BECAUSE HE IS BLACK(AND WHITE TO BE POLICTICALLY CORRECT / EVEN THOUGH U ONLY HATE HIM BECAUSE OF HIS BLACK SIDE)

So, given that 131.2 million total votes were cast in the 2008 presidential election, that would imply that 41.7 million white people voted for Obama, or about 60% of the 69.4 million people who voted for him.
(i pulled this info from cnn.com)

96% of people dont agree on anything. If every person registered to IA got together..... 96% of us wouldnt be able to agree on where to get icecream, much less an important decision like picking a president. I find it strikingly odd that black people are so united around this decision and their decision to vote democratic in general.

I think Sinfix and CDangerfield are too young to remember the other black guy who ran for president before Obama. And democrat isn't a traditionally black party.
at what point did it start becoming a traditionally black party... because it has been for my entire life.

Numbers dont lie man, sometimes they say things that we dont want to hear. You can try to put malice in my words, but it doesnt erase the fact that 96% of black people voted for Obama. 52% of white people voted for Obama. Which one of those stats feels more realistic? It's not about whether or not black people were the deciding factor of the election, it's pointing out that black people stand together.......................................... .................................................. .. with black people. For all the finger pointing done at white people for being racist...... no tangible stat you can put on paper seems to support it. I dont hate Obama because he's black. I hate him because now when i drive downtown, i see groups of people who probably couldnt tell me what month it was or what the capital of Georgia is, rallying for Obama. Because of the number of times ive heard the words " i didnt care anything about politics before Obama " in idle conversation. The double standard in the world when it comes to racism is ridiculous. Pointing out racism in the black community is racist.......... any criticism of the black community regardless of merit is racism.....

I hate Obama for what he is............ a figure head. a speech reader. a political puppet used to manipulate the masses.

I don't have 1 problem with hearing that 96% of blacks voted for Obama - "GO BLACK PEOPLE"
LOL and white people and other races don't stick with their race???? You cracking me up.
So your mad because a black man running for president inspired people to do something important with their life - like vote? And you can go to some trailor parks and get the same disappointment lol
African American's had a reason to stick together - You wouldn't understand it but having a black president meant more to us then just that one thing. It meant that we as a black people were over coming obsticles and that their was nothing that we couldn't do.. Before Obama was president blacks didn't believe they could achive something like that but after he won it said "Yes we can" to anything we put our minds to. I know his slogan was "Yes we can" as Americans but to African American's it meant something totally different - Yes my black son can, Yes my black daughter can, Yes- I as a black individual can.... And him becoming president meant several other things to each person that voted for him black,white,asian,hispanic,etc...

I don't care what color you are, if you can read or not... Everyone deserves "HOPE" ! It doesn't matter if your in the ghetto or in a trailor park. I'm not mad at the white people that didn't vote for Obama cause he wasn't white or the latin's because he is not Latin and again you have always seen white presidents, I wouldn't blame the hispanic or asian community if 95% of them voted for the same race president. You might not understand what i'm saying because u have never had to fill like "there is a limit to what my race can do" "or are allowed to do" because like it or not the majority rules. I'm not saying your racist - even though saying you hate Obama implies that (but its just an observation from reading your comments) - I'm just saying that your comments sound like they are coming from a different place other then politics

African americans obviously had additional reasons to vote for Obama but sounds siliy that you figured it out in your head that only reason they voted for him is because he is black, not because they agreed with what he said (like all the other races) or that they believed he could make change in the U.S (like all the other races) and yes on top of all this its a bonus that he is black.

And i'm actually at work (not at home chilling)
You crack me up man - by the way i do like your "car" though - but only cause its black. :goodjob:

You're right... i am mad that black people needed a black president to be inspired to do something with their life. Your black daughter, black son, black mom, black friends, black uncle, could do anything they wanted with their life long before Obama. You're not inspired by anything Obama has done. You're inspired simply because he's black. You're not interested in the common good, you're interested in what's good for black people. Obama is one of the least qualified and experienced presidents in american history...... yet black people honestly feel like racism is the only reason someone didnt vote for him.

Black people act like theyre in competition with white people, yet they cry racism or unfair opportunity anytime they feel like theyre losing that "competition". There's no limit to what your race can do and in your lifetime, there never was. Quit making excuses for yourself. Your life is no different from mine. There's nothing about the "black experience" that i myself have not experienced.

i also find it funny that you feel the need to point out that you're at work, at a job you're obviously not doing.

i've already said the democratic party was traditionally black. Obama was put forth as a candidate the same way a record label assembles a group like the backstreet boys because they know its what teenage girls will buy.

Anytime white people chose to be around only other white people it's called racism. But black people can label any and everything as black and seclude themselves from all other races and its called pride.

Obama our President, Our Leader, The guy who makes the final decision on ALL LAWS passed. Yeah my obsession is to keep you informed of a President who makes decisions that will effect our existence.

You are giving way too much power to the president. Congress has to pass the laws (as you implicitly stated) before he can decide if he wants to veto. I'm not saying the president doesn't have responsibility, but he shouldn't be constantly singled out when it takes literally hundreds of legislators to make a law. I'm not saying this is the case here, but also keep in mind that the president isn't "the guy who makes the final decision on ALL LAWS passed" because congress can override his veto. To reiterate, I know I'm being a bit nitpicky here but these details really matter as they are what stops a president from being anything like a dictator.

Understand that in the first amendment it states Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech - It is now abridged as our right to protest anywhere has been limited. In which it is a felony w/ prison time and a fine.

Well the NDAA was shot down, I havent heard of this since I dont have cable or free tv. Congress does as little work with managing the relentless number of bills that run thru it's halls as Obama does with creating Unconstitional Acts.

But why is it that some of these new laws come into existence when the people speak directly against what the Government is doing? Since when can we not call out things that are not right? No one else is monitoring anything in the "Leader Boards"; but the people would have no reason whatsoever to gather in mass if there was not an obvious issue and I believe that they have the right to speak clearly and directly to the people whom create the nonsense we live in.

Like how the UK residents act when BS comes about.

I'm not quite sure what your post is getting at. Although we generally want speech to be as free as possible, we recognize that there are valid reasons to limit speech in certain instances (libel, yelling fire in a crowded theatre, etc). That being said, people can and regularly do protest things in this country in a very public way. Not surprisingly sometimes people abuse their power to try and silence their critics. If we feel politicians are unduly removing our freedoms, we have a process to remove them.
