i have a 2000 civic si and it is turbo.
I have a ramhorn exhaust manifold and a greddy t3/t4 turbo.
My problem is i have a large amount of water leaking out of the down pipe, The lines are not leaking so it has led me to believe its coming out of the turbo...
This is my first turbo car so please excuse my lack of knowledge.
What could the problem be?

Is it water or coolant? Some condensation is normal to come out of the downpipe especially if its driven short trips. What amount of liquid are we talking about here?

it's coolant for sure. A lot of water. I'm 100% sure it's not condensation

Well thats bad news then.

1) somehow your turbo has an internal coolant leak thats making its way into the exhaust. probably unlikely. (assuming the turbo is water cooled)
2) you've got a blown HG, cracked head, or cracked sleeve.

It is a water cooled turbo.
A friend told me it could be the o-ring, but i'm leaning towards blown headgasket. i hope it's just that and not a cracked sleeve or head.

I dont think (could be wrong) that the coolant goes anywhere near the shaft on a water cooled turbo, it just flows through the housing. Meaning unless its got a crack or something i dont think its the turbo.

You should do a block test to confirm the HG theory.

I appreciate the help a lot. you have been repped although i doubt i'm worth anything.
