I used to go last year...the classifications of the cars are not right though. I used to race a 09 tundra supercharged and they would put me in the same class as single cab old school chevys with built 454s with 150 - 250 shots of nitrous and cut out beds and as well as diesels cranking out 800-1000hp!! I quit going because of that reason....they need better grouping.

Same thing if your running a turbo civic or something - you are put in the TUNER class and their could be a stock internal d series with 220whp and built b series with 500whp in the same class???

But I haven't been in awhile, does anyone know if they changed it?

I believe the classes are still like that..... Idk.. I drive all motor honda... I get put in the compact class, As I should be.. The tuner class and Compact classes, are pretty spot on.. IMO ( most of the time)

that's fucked up....the rules clearly state no race cars allowed....that is clearly not a street car....hell it's not even street legal so it must be considered a race car. hell its gotta weigh less than 1000lbs and its in a power adder class so it's making prolly at least 300hp if not more. i have no clue what's in that thing.

Yeah...its kind of whack that that buggy is in that class. And thats the class I would be in...and I'm going to have fun...but also want to have a chance at winning!! But apparently this guy likes getting a trophy every week. ...and it was the same way with my old supercharged tundra...they had like 800-1000hp diesels in the same class. And then had others with old regular cab trucks with cut out beds...slicks...built 400+CI engines with like 150-250 shots of nitrous.

We used to go each week in 2010 - and us and a couple other folks complained at the end of the season to Ted (I think thats his name) that it is unfair and needs to be classified a little beter. And they claimed they were going to work on fixing it....but I guess they haven't.

Man whatever, there is a 400ish HP civic with dragradials in the same class. this dude just has a Rail buggy with one of those porsche beetle motors. if I remember right they make 220ish. and its not like he beats their ass, it is close for sure. If we are going by rules, he's legal for the compact class. I know because he ran it half last year. the rules also say that if you win 3 times you get bumped up to the next class. so if you win a lot, you get bumped. sounds fair to me.

I totally agree that the classes are loose, but the fact is if they ran them "right" they would have 25 classes and 3 people in each one. If you want to talk about an unfair class, go run in Domestic there are 50+cars in that class and its the same 5 in the finals each time.

LoL...thats why I was asking...I haven't been in awhile but the LAST time I went...It was pretty unfair in my class. Didn't know they "bump" you up

Honestly driver ability is soooo important. I cant tell you how many races I shouldnt have won but did. My car I just had a better reaction time and launch than the other person. My POS 88 single cam civic was beating RSX's and B-swap civics because I knew how to drive.
