Yeah my blades are polished, ended at what appears to be 2k grit as well, got some mothers mag polish to make them shine & put (2) 195/50's on the rear & (2) 175/55's on the front because the tire ratios are basically the same with 0.4% difference between the 2.

After applying 3 quick coats of Mother Polish to my blades, I've cone to figure out that my blades are Mirror Polished:
