Well, I haven't had too much time to get on cause I just got married and am hauling ass on and off work but there's some stuff I have to get off my chest. A lot of people dropped by my job on the Sunday morning of IA around 3-5 A.M. At first it was pretty cool seeing all the tuner guys drop by, mostly Hondas and Acuras a few STI's, Evo, and a stanced G37.
People came on in to stock up on refreshments and hung out on the lot to take pics and socialize, I took joy in talking to all the tuners and people getting up early to get good parking spots but things turned for the worst when the street racing started. All I could do was shake my head, soon cops surrounded the location and waited to bait anyone else leaving the premises.
What people do in their cars is up to them, if they want to do stupid shit more power to them but seriously what's with the assholes? First, i've had a plethora of people discredit me because of what I drove, a twin-boosted BMW. Secondly, was it REALLY necessary to key my car? Yeah, that's right. Someone KEYED a HONDA symbol and "FAG" onto my hood. I was too tired to be angry.
It's going to the shop tomorrow to get repainted. I just can't imagine why anyone would do this. I can't imagine it's anyone I talked to who did it because I laughed and joked with everyone whom I came across.
I've had my fair share of time, actually all except this year, in the JDM world but I just can't believe the amount of people who stereotype BMW owners. It's really no wonder why we exclude ourselves to our own meets. Sucks it has to be that way.
Needless to say it made me bitter enough to not want to go to IA. Anyways just wanted to post that some dipshit kid thought it'd be funny to key my car.
