nah... it was never in the bag... you see i am a true enthusist, i share my info for people to learn from... i would have never put it on the internet if i cared who see's it... i built this car for me, not for anyone else... im not some asshole with a thick checkbook that just pays for people to build stuff that they arent smart enough to build... my car is a true daily driver, yes its fast for a fully trimmed out ex model civic, its got a/c, cruise, power everything, even a spare tire and jack... obviously my car is not as fast as 91s13 because he posts his info for people to see, im sure not to his surprise, and because of that i would be as much of a fool as zosick is for racing jerry... my car does get faster everytime i take it to the track, as it should... but im no fool, my ego doesnt get in the way of common sense, so i would be a fool to race for $500 w/o leveling the playing field a little... but quite frankly, i work to hard for my money to risk losing $500 on a race... i will and do race for money, but im not pleased enough with my car to bet that kind of money yet... just like zo won't race for $2k with jerry... it actually shows he has a little sense, because if it was in the bag, he would race for $5k, right...

for me racing is more about my personal accomplishments than my investment... people like zo and jerry for that fact just pay out, so the only investment they have is money... yes he probably has more in his engine than i do in my whole car, but what does that say when a car with 10k in it can run with a car thats got $50k in it... it proves that money isnt the only thing that can make cars fast, it goes along way, but its not the only thing... i know i have built a truely unique car that i dare anyone of you to say that you are not at least a little impressed with, it is a true sleeper :D ... but thats what i wanted, a multipurpose car that needs nothing to be ready to race, hell, i dont even lower my tire pressure at the track...

I built a top mount manifold, full aluminum exhaust, replaced every single bushing on my car, made my own fuel cell to fit the stock pump assembly and sending unit, built a wiring harness, my intercooler, New bumper support to allow adequate crash protection all with ac and an uncut front bumper... all of my intercooler piping was polished and welded by me, I even designed a new lower radiator support to accomidate traction bar that I built... I tune on my own car, after the fuel trims were set by Scotty at mainstream... I carry a cheap ass netbook just for that... and I'm always open for questions about helping others... I don't have to pump myself up by bringing others down... my accomplishments speak volumes over people like you...

I love the fuck outta cars. I like messing with them, looking at them, reading about new models, whatever. That, for me, like most people, will never change. I hate the fuck out of this scene. The "Barretts", the "BPs", the "Morelands" and the "Sonics", and last but not least, Import Alliance. For whatever reason, this scene brings out the scum of the import world. The 240 owners who believe they are all Vaughn Gitten Jr. and feel they have to prove it in the two lane parking lot filled with other cars, the simple honda kids who think VTEC engages when the clutch is depressed and the rev limiter is pegged at 9000 rpm, and the stupid drivers who think a parking lot is their own personal time attack course. The scene is incredebly stigmatized, which troubles me deeply. Because in the eyes of everyone else--law enforcement, general public--if you drive anything even remotely modified from Japan, you are looked at as less than a person. No matter how staunchly you follow traffic laws.

After waking up like a fucking idiot at 6am on a Sunday, I drove down to Turner Field, and exited Fulton Street at 8am. My day might have been a little better had it not been for all of the dumbass people who didnt know the red light at the exit means stop. Loads of people went around me as I chose to remain at the stop light until traffic cleared up, only to further clog the intersection (even for people who werent going to the meet, and were driving the opposite direction of the stadium). Im guessing most of these drivers are 16 years old and just got their license, or are from out of town, and the backwoods towns they live in don't have traffic control devices.

The fun continues at the event, where despite the limited number of parking spaces and the massive amount of registered guests, people thought their primered 94 Civic EXs needed more than one parking spot. And yes, Im also looking at you, Kennesaw crew who I saw parked completely sideways taking up 2-3 parking spots. I don't understand why all the $90,000 GTRs and the half million dollar LFAs by Forged section only took up one space each, but the $12,000 TSX on shitty Enkei wheels needed 3 spaces. Maybe someone can explain it to me. Then to top it off, we were all forcibly evicted at about 2pm. The reason is only rumor and speculation at this point. Some say we exceeded our permit limits for the cars, some say people were surprisingly acting childish, doing burnouts or racing through the parking lots. Whatever the reason, something tells me if this was a parking lot full of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, Astons, and so on, there would still be people there right now.

I guess I only have myself to blame, because in the last scene rant I made--consequently enough, it was about the spring Import Alliance meet--I told myself I would never again subject myself to this torture. So I'll say it again, this time with absolution. This is the LAST spring/Atlanta IA meet I'll be attending, and chances are not looking good for the rest of the IA meets.

From what I gather Zo talked shit to some of the columbus guys and they called him out and for one reason or another the race hasn't happened yet. If it doesn't happen this weekend I think its safe to say it will never happen

When I go to Airport Runs or Drag Strips - I always bring humble pie. I already know that I'll loose in a drag race with most drag built cars and good draggers - I just love to drive. I directly made a post earlier about ego. Remember the days when you/we/me just wanted to get into a car and have fun? At this point in my life, all I want to do is have fun; especially, in my vehicles. Vehicles provide most of my entertainment and I never take it seriously.

I also completely suck at drag racing; however, I always have fun. I'll stay on the far left or middle of Silver Dollar. I think my reaction times are mostly .7+. I'm lucky to get below 12 seconds with that type of reaction time. My cars always do spec times if I minus my reaction.

Do most of you trailer there or drive? I'll be driving if it all works out.

to a point yes... if you have been following the zo call out thread you will notice there are definate lulls in responses, this was because zo was talking to jerry... then he gets on here, makes his proclamation about races and videos, which never happened, and then proceeds to ignore jerrys calls... sooooo, we all know he looks at this, so in attempts to close this thread once and for all, i am just holding people to their word... the word that zo says is good, but week after week goes unanswered...

100% agree with you and im, for the first time ever, getting trailered to an event, my buddy offered and its cheaper than gas lol but most from the columbus area are driving there its only 45 minutes or so from us
