GSR swap questions

I swapped an '01 gs-r motor into my '93 del Sol Si. The problem I am having at the moment is at low speeds through 1st and 2nd gear, it gets real jerky until I get into the throttle a little bit. Then, at higher rpms, while getting into the throttle, it gets jerky, sputters, and won't run past around 3500 rpms after that. All while the rpms are jumping a lot.. What would this be?

Also, I am currently running it on a modified d-series harness with a p72 ecu. I am looking into a chase bays harness. I am planning on ordering everything the way it would be as if the motor were still in it's original vehicle ( obd2 connectors and all ), would I be able to do that, and use an obd2 -> 1 jumper harness, and run no problems?

just use the obd1 harness. you might have a bad ground,sensor,etc??? but i wouldnt convert the car to obd2 and then back to obd1. that would be a nightmare in itself!

My swap is doing that as well i have a obd1 in a 97 ek. Just started doing it. Mine was limp mode caused by my TPS but it wasnt really the tps it was a faulty ecu. Deff check all grounds a loose ground will cause this. If you havent done a full tune up id do that too. Plugs, wires, cap and rotor ect.
