I'm sold on trying my luck in the hobby now......Anyone else into or do this stuff ?

Stupid autocorrect used medal because I was looking of medal of honor earlier lol
Not actually they can range from $200-$1000 new hell I've seen used ones before go for cheap.
Not looking for a professional grade one just any will do for now.

Back in NY there were always old dudes walking the beaches with metal detectors. There are other costs involved though... Don't forget the following:

1: Really short shorts pulled up so high they give you a moose knuckle, show off your pale white thighs and reside somewhere in between your belly button and nipples.
2: Suspenders for said moose knuckle shorts
3: A lifetime supply of hawiian shirts
4: Flip flops with built-in knee-high socks
5: Those old people glasses that look like the black dude from star trek
6: Maybe a straw hat to finish the look off.

Use the following picture as a general reference:

Growing up in Miami I would see old men sweeping the beaches everyday, if u really think about it someone can make a great deal of money sweeping a beach especially high end tourist beaches. If u ask most people who visit beaches pretty much everyone of them will tell u they have lost some item of jewelry on a beach in there life. If I still lived in Miami I'd probably invest in one...

Do it, it's extra money in your pocket either way. I'm about to start it myself, thinking about looking for meteorites too...

I'd buy one just so I could find my bolts and sockets that seem to disappear when I drop them. lol
