Ok I have a b16 head that looks like it had a meeting with a piston. Wondering if it's still usable. Looks like it is as the damage is inside the chamber and didn't contact the surface of the head. I've already did a pressure check on it and it passed. Also how much would it cost to smooth it or should I leave it alone.

it doesnt look bad, looks very usable TO ME atleast. what you can do is put a old spark plug in grab a wirebrush/wheel whatever and go over the entire chamber until its smooth and then resurface the head. do this to all the chambers if you want... i recommend it

That's what I was thinking of doing but didn't wanna waste time if its gonna cost more to fix than it was to just buy another head.
Any idea on price range of how much to get it done. And if anyone can get in contact with h22jones, I've heard either him or his dad does port and polish work and wanted to know how much they charge. So if anyone can contact him please send him my way.
Much appreciation.
