i want to paint a valve cover but all i can find on line are videos of people using one color. i want to put on there more then one color if any one can help with this and let me know what paint i can use and tips or if you know of any videos out there that show how to put on more then one color on a valve cover can you plz let me know......... thank you and have a great day

Paint it one color, let it dry fully. Then tape up where you want the first color and paint the second color. Then let dry and remove the tape.

Spray paint works. Although, if you have a compressor and a real paint gun you can use that as well.

will the heat be okay on reg spray paint

I've never had a problem. You can use engine enamel if you're worried about it.

thanks for your help man and i am going to put a clear on it to make it chine lol
Make sure to use multiple layers of that clear. and buff it after it cures ( 5hrs or more after last spray) painted several valve covers but only saw a good shine after buffing it.
