I'd like to take some cheap ebay tails like this : http://www.ebay.com/itm/90-97-Mazda-Miata-Chrome-Clear-Tail-Lights-Driver-Passenger-Rear-Lamps-Assembly-/220965493655?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1990|Model%3AMiata&hash=item337291db97&vxp=mtr

Tint them red to look like:

Can you do red tint?

I was hoping to get it done with vinyl, it would probably last longer. I'm also willing to be the finish would be better then what I could get with a rattle can.

I can do the red with the 2 part automotive grade paint or vinyl :) I would just have to order the vinyl in for you :D

What is going to look better? Most importantly what is going to last longer? Oh and how much for either?

Paint will look best since it'll look smoother / glassy. Paint will last as long as you want if it's taken care of well! :) Vinyl has a shelf life of about 3-5yrs. PM'ed ya prices :D
