This thing is in good ass shape. My grandfather originally owned it and then had a stroke shortly after buying so it has been sitting around for a long time, barely ever driven. It runs like a fucking champ, though. Cranked it up a few weeks ago and drove it to work without a single issue. No dry-rot on the tires or any hoses/belts and the body is in excellent condition with the exception of a little rust on the driver door. It has a full velvet-red color interior and only 63k miles on it. Yea, sixty-three thousand. It runs great, working on getting the title situation sorted out since he left it to my mother and her 2 sisters and then it will be my new DD.

Pictures

The hood half washed so you can see how dirty it was before (hadn't been washed in a few years)

It doesn't have any sentimental value, it just runs better and is more reliable than my Maxima at this point.

Lol once the title situation gets worked out and the Ford is driveable then I'll sell/trade the Maxima and get a 5 or 6 speed project to work on or I'll buy a new project once I have the money, whichever comes first :)

My father has a 91 Grand Marquis pretty much identical and has over 386,000 miles on original motor with original gaskets.

Nope he treats it like a damn truck hauls everything in it even added a hitch and pulls stuff around. The car even made a trip to Disney in California back in 95.

My grandfather had one as well, never knew him to have any other car (in my lifetime). For that reason alone I love them. Yes, they ride like boats... But if nothing else I would keep it for long hwy trips. Like driving a Lazy-boy chair.

My uncle took it down to Florida once, says it was the most comfortable car ride he has ever taken. Furthest I've ever driven in it was to work which isn't far by any means. Still, it felt like heaven.

Yussir, I'll try and get some interior pics tomorrow. Only 2 little burn holes from cigarette burns, one on the driver side of the front seat and one on the passenger side of the front seat. Other than that, its pure secks.

If its never been done id recommend you swap out the Alternator Pig tail. My father found out about the defective OEM ones the hard way and costed him an Alternator almost entire car.
