It's always been a dream of mine to write for an auto magazine, so in an effort to build my writing chops up a little bit and have some fun, I want to find someone (or maybe a few folks) with a nice car and an interesting story to write an article about.
To me an interesting story is something along the lines of a long time (at least a few years) project car that you finally perfected, a replacement for a long time project car that was wrecked or stolen, hard times, overcoming adversity, family heirloom and so on. In other words, if you're a spoiled little kid whose parents just bought them a tricked out s2000, or you change cars as much as your change underwear, I don't think most folks will find that particularly interesting to read about. You can also read about that in any tuner magazine on the market, so I want to do something with a more personal touch.
You can check my blog out at CSquaredPerformance.com (http://www.csquaredperformance.com) for a sample of what I can do. I wouldn't call myself an all-star, but it's free and your car would be featured on my blog, which is probably enough to brag about with a couple of friends. And you can use it anyway you want (just hopefully you give me credit for it in some way).
You can post up here or PM, but let me know.
p.s. Sorry if this steps over some sort of line (self advertisement wise), but I figured since IA doesn't do the front page articles anymore, I'm not really stepping on anyone's feet. Nor am I selling a product or service.
