Hey Import Atlanta folks,
Recently i just bought a 2001 Acura Integra 5 speed with a b18b1 in it. Previous owner was rough on the car , driving home i blew the motor and threw a rod from the block. I find a motor out of another 01 Integra but this one was off an Automatic Integra. I swapped the motor in, car runs fine but one problem. The problem is battery will not charge, took alternator to Autozone/O'reilys and they said Alternator is good. What could it be ?if anyone could help me out here. I did not change the Automatic Harness though but i thought it wouldn't need to swap it. Please let me know and help me out.

Make sure that the post on the alternator is getting good connection ... I had one break and couldn't figure out what it was at first

Has to be wiring. ^^ These two suggestions are good.

Check the wiring. Also I know on 96-00 civic there is a fuse under the dash that if its blown will not charge the battery im sure integras are similar so also check the fuses

I had this same problem previously, on my Integra. One of the wires from the battery was cut open and was grounded and draining battery power while the car was off.

Thanks for your reply guys.

Update: Problem was one of the 3 wires that go the fuse box was mismatched during the swap, so it was basically charging the abs instead of the battery.
