I need someone to help me swap in a 4g63t out of a 90-93 eclipse talon or whatever into a 1994 mirage ,i called mahdavi they charging $7000 ! that is called rape.if anybody knows how to swap in and where i can get this motor help me out.lemme know how much you'll charge me.hakunnamattata !

Dude its not a notrmal swap.you have to weld in mounts, fab up a firewall forward and maybe more harness, weld an exhaust, route everything, make piping, etc

naw its not that bad. i friend did it in his dodge colt. its basically a drop in but u gotta tweak the tranny mount. go to a dsm forum and they can prob help u out. good luck

Its not a difficult swap to be done. There are many of those swaps in the Atlanta area alone. My advice on the swap is to go onto the ga.dsm.org site and read up on it. There are more than a couple of different people whom you should be able to find that would probably charge a substantial amount less for the work.

Difference in chassis between a dodge colt gt/mitsu mirage that model has a 4g61 stock and it basically bolts in.

A 1994 mirage is a bit different.

Mahdavi tried to charge me 5k just to do a Evo 8 motor in my 00 Galant and all the mounts where the same!Do you have a picture of up under the hood of your car? I have a few Jdm motors that might work but im not sure where your mounts are!!

it might be easy to do a 4g64 turbo, u can get a 4g64 for about 400-500 bucks shipped and the turbo setup would be around 1-2 grand depending on parts and with the tranny it would probley be 4 r 5 grand. if ur intake manifold it pointed to the drivers side the only 4g63s u could use r the evo 5-9 motors.

any ways seriously hes talking about 7000 with the motor in the cost ok guys. which seriously is not that bad of a price. keep in mind that the 4g63 with the 16g or 14g is a crap load of money. a brand new stock evo motor(probably if u say evo to the dealership) is almost 8 grand. and the evo tranny, dunno if u want to go awd cause itll cost u an arm and a leg to put the drivetrain and suspension in, costs 3500 for the tranny. me cause if u say evo at the dealership it means $$$$$ to them. respectivly keep shopping around. try wicked tuning and of course the well known top speed. try top speed first they are awesome.
