All motor p29 d16y7 build! with pics!

ok so earlier this year i built a lsvtec motor on boost in my ek and messed around and sold it like a tard so i got bored and bought me a cheap ef hatch with ac and a y7 swap so i figured i would see what kind of power we could make out of the little single im shooting for somewhere around 150 ish 160.idk im just building a little something that will be fun to drive not anything crazy if i wanted to go fast i would build a low comp. turbo motor:gay: anyways the build consist of
stock rods
p29 pistons
y7 block
king bearings
new oil and water pump
full custom exhaust
aem cai
z6 port and polished head
y8 manifold
3 layer headgasket
comp 59300 stage 2 cam
p28 chipped and tuned on chrome
custom made header still in the making lol
and thats about it just figured i would share just trying to make a fun dd but on to the :camera:

got the cam in today and got my pistons pressed on my stock rods and got them in the block cant wait to get it finished to see what it will do

High comp sohc are torquey, should be interesting to see the outcome. Im a huge SOHC fan.. although i fall into the boosted category.

Yea I've always feel under the boost category also but I just wanted to do something different this time I was gonna go b series but everyone always builds those also so I just wanted to do something different I can't wait to see the outcome also it should be up and running by next weekend hopefully

Good luck. It will be an uphill battle. Just finish the build, and worry about numbers after the fact. Because if you never get your hopes up, you can never be let down.
160 whp is a tall order for such simple mods.

Yea I know it was just a little guess theirs a guy here in macon with a stock b2 block with a built head and he dynos 151 so it was just a gestimate of what I would put down but to be honest nothings gonna let me down lol after all it's just a single haha I just want something fun
