This was actually a buddy of mines build. I did all the paint and prep and he did all the motor and primer. He wrecked his EF SI and swapped everything to a DX body. Heres the Build from beginning to end. let me know what you think?

The car came out remarkably well for a garage paint job! Looks very nice. I love EFs and will hopefully own another one soon.
There is talk about putting together a Gainesville / Dawsonville meet at the Varsity Jr sometime in the future, you should come out if it actually comes together.

thanks guys. I do plan on doing more work in the future when i get my own house, which should be soon hopefully. Honestly I would love to do more work because it is something I love to do I would just need the vehicle for an extended period of time depending on how much work needs to be done to prep. that car unfortunately got traded for a 08' zx10r that is posted in the bikes forum. i did some special work to that one also. yall actually might see me more often than you think. I actually repair wheels for a living in the buford, gainesville, duluth, cumming area. if you ever see a black silverado with an alloy wheel repair trailer, thats me. I would love to do more so don't forget me. i'll be willing to do more for a cheap price when i get into a house. thanks again.

You can build a temporary paint booth for cheap. I think that's what cb7tuner did.

oh yea i know. I actually just figured out I will be getting my house and already have plans on making half my garage a paint booth. I know how to do it but I am going to build it to be a functional paint booth and garage. I will make it so it won't take an hour to set everything up. just a few minutes. I will have thick plastic curtains on rollers that will be able to be pushed back out of the way and easily pulled out for painting. it's all in my head. should be up and ready after i get my tax return.

touche. it actually had a litle orange peel and like 4 runs in the whole car but I would have been able to do a better job if i had a bigger gun. I used a sata mini jet for the whole car. If you know anything about paint guns that gun should have never been used for that car, but i used what i had. I thought it turned out quite well considering that was the first time i ever painted a whole car. I was asked by multiple ppl that saw the car in person to paint their car. to say the least i was happy with the outcome. I will do a whole lot better next go around bc i will have all the propper equip.

well from the remarks i'm getting from everyone I will seriously start on getting on the necessary pieces to make this happen. I will be fair on price its just that it might take longer than somewhere else just because I want to do everything correct but for a very fair price. I just love to paint. though I do it everyday at my job, it never gets old to me.
