I'm trying to figure out if i would be able to run 1 bar on 11-1 compression with forged pistons/rod all main bolts are studs along with head bolts, im running a ar 60/63 turbo with 3in exhaust.
the reason i would like some input is because i don't have money for a electronic boost controller and i don't want to use a manual boost controller. i want to run the exact spring in the wastgate for how much boost im going to run.
if i absolutely have to i will put a smaller spring with a manual controller but before i go buy another spring/and drive to the tuner and waste time is it possible to run that much boost on 11-1 on 93?
thanks in advance

It's possible, just make sure the tune is done correctly by a professional.

If it makes you feel better the avg boosted motor we build is 10-11: 1 compression.

So 14 psi doesn't seem very sketchy with that compression? Yeah that makes me feel better haha

With high comp. and boost, it's all about keeping IATs in check and being careful with your timing map. I run 10:1 comp. and 14psi on my car with no problems (not a Honda). I had my car tuned at Balanced, but MS is a great shop as well.
Even with a built engine, you are not immune from killing it with a bad tune.
As for a MBC vs. EBC, I've had no problems with the Hallman MBC I've been running for years...rock solid. I even have the ability to run EBC with my Hydra, but I choose the MBC.

Ill look into the hallman mbc, I was going to get my car tuned at balacne cause of how close it is to me, but they won't tune hondata s200

Since hondata s200 has been phased out, most people wont tune it. I wouldnt run 14psi + on a stock piston motor, 11 :1 , for long.... But a properly built motor, no problem. Recent customer was doing 28+psi 11.5:1 making over 700whp
