Here is a chance for someone to get a running 3rd Gen (R1) for less than 10K.

Engine is in ok condition. Turbos need little work. If purchased before X-mas I will throw in a good used low mileage turbos in with this sale.

Exterior is in poor to good condition (damage under the driverside door, could be taken out relatively cheap and no effect on driveability)
Interior has tan seats (poor driverside) and tan interior (R1 interior was taken out).
No stereo and speakers (I was going to make it into a track car)
Stock rims with good set of tires
Bad 5th gear synchros


But it still has stock R1 dual oil coolers, R1 strut brace, R1 rear wing, and I will put the R1 lip on if buyer prefers R1 lip over 99 lip.

I've been on this Rx7club.com for years and I know that this is a great deal. I will not consider anything below asking price. So, don't waste your time nor mine asking anything less.

FYI: there is less than 5,000 of these left in USA. Also, new R&T consider FD3S as a collectors car.. LOL!

Ian, Engine seems to be fine. i've owned 6 FD's, 1 FC, and 1 FB and seen ton of 7s. By my experience without breaking down the engine, it seems to be fine. But with any rotary or turbo charged cars, its fairly easy to blow these if driven hard and not tuned.

Yes it does. I thought I mentioned that the interior was swapped out. I bought this car with a friend and he took the interior and I kept the car. I didn't care about the interior since I was going to make it a track car.
Also, I priced this car accordingly to the condition and change of interior.

Ah ok, didn't read that part I guess. I was kind of curious why it had tan interior from the touring models and no sun roof with no rear whiper.

Honestly?? I'm not sure if you are saying I'm lying about something but,
I had the car since May of this year. Got it running and drove maybe 200 miles. Since it not in MINT condition, I was going to track it until I blew the motor. I currently have 2 x 3 rotor engines being built, 5x 13B REWs w/2 good cores.

If my intention initially wasn't to keep this car, I wouldn't of sold my mint 1st gen in order to keep this. If you need verification to this, you could do a search on RX7club.com and I could also provide verification that I sold my 1st gen because of this third gen (1st gen was bought by a guy in CA and could give you his info).

As I explained to several who emailed me. The car is priced very reasonable for its condition. I know people doubt about the rotary engine and such, but I can't guarantee anything as I had my engine blow up not because of I was pushing it, it just let go (bad coolant seal).

I also used to be the president of Mazda Rotary Car Club of Alabama and I'm sure many of the club member will give feedback if needed. I also wrote articles for RXTuner magazine and been around RX cars for several years. I have no intention of misleading anyone as it Not worth my reputation.

The deal I made with my lady is that, If I don't sell my car by my tax return next year, I'm just going to keep it, put all the crap I bought for it, and track it until I blow up the engine.
