STOCK rebuild b18a1 in eg, runs great no issues, I know that you can run heat even without AC. My problem is... i dont have a thermostat in the housing, i have the gasket from the thermostat and it doesnt overheat, my question is.. would I have to buy a thermostat for a 90-93? because recently I purchase a thermostat from Acura but it was for a 94 and it overheats when I leave the warm to warm up or drive, hose seems to get hot. I believe the thermostat is not letting any coolant through the thermostat housing.

According to Autozone's website, the thermostat between the 90-93 and 94-01 LS motors have different part numbers so I will assume they are different all together regardless of where you get it from. Buy one specifically for that motor ( 90-93 Integra ) and throw it in. Let us know if it overheats again.

i checked at acura, thermostat are the same size no different, they even use the same thermostat for v6's, so im back to the issue... waterpump could be bad? maybe?

Im with Bacon, try the specific thermostat for that motor. The worst that can happen is you have to return the thermostat to the parts store.

If your fan is always on and it's still overheating then you def have a problem. Is the heat working?

heat not working because no thermostat, fan is always on, car runs fine without thermostat in the housing lol. doesnt overheat without thermostat. so there is my problem, i want the thermostat in, but what is causing the overheating?

That could be a water pump. Could be pushing water fine until it has something that gives resistance.....hence why it overheats when you add the thermostat. Couldn't hurt to change the water pump and keep the thermostat. Don't return it like herp derp mentioned a couple of replies ago.
