Does anyone on here shoot film? I just picked up a Nikon N70, and I am trying to locate a good processing lab local.

I took a test roll to Wolf and I am less than pleased with what they provide. Basically, with a full frame, they give the equivalent of a 2.2MP camera (1800x1215) when processes and put on CD. That's garbage. I have a Sony P&S from 2000 that gives 3.3MP.

I'm interested in find a local lab that can process and scan high resolution. With a full frame, I should be able to get approximately 25MP out of a properly scanned shot. North Coast Photo in CA offers this, but I have to mail off my film for that.

Anyone know of any local labs that provide quality scans?

I'm probably going to try a local lab soon with a roll. Looks like E Six Lab (http://www.e-sixlab.com/) might be able to offer what I want.
It's not cheap, but if I only need a few scanned, then it is reasonable and close to get a 3000dpi scan.

I shot film one time and one time only. I stopped only because it shot me back. In the back.

Just kidding, but I still have a few film cameras laying around. I have one from the 1970s. Later, QD.

I used to shoot with an N65 before I got my D3100.

I never found a good quality processing shop locally.

I do have all the dark room equipment in my shed from my dad when he was younger.. Maybe one day I'll get into that.
