So, I was off work today and I decided to go to my best friends house to hang out with her brothers and sisters, and possibly cut and color her mothers hair.. On the way over there (on Holcomb Bridge in front of Regal Nissian) I hear a loud "POP!" I instantly freaked out because I've never been in a car wreck, nor have I had that type of sound come from my car, so my first instinct was to pull into the gas station... I get out... and my tire was flat. Literally, flat. I jacked it up, changed the tire, but my little donut of a tire on there and rode up to Regal Nissan to have a brand new tire put on my car.. 109 DOLLARS!!! For a damn tire!?!! I must be a little behind, but when the hell did tires start costing 100 dollars? Anyways...

Later on in the day, I get a call from my father, to let me know what's going on with his radiation treatment as well as his Chemo. (For those who don't know, my dad has had cancer since last June. He fought it, and then it came back.) His doctor called him and told him that he cannot do radiation, because where the tumors are located will make him go blind so he can only do Chemo. Awesome. *Sarcasm* If it's not one thing it's another lately.

**Keep my dad in your prayers please. He's been through way too much.**

yeah 100$ for a new tire is normal, usually for 4 tires its 600+ for a decent set.

my mom is going through chemo right now, so I can relate. Also, On the way up to the spring IA in Nashville, my front driver side wheel came OFF and went across the median. Needless to say, you're not alone, lol.

Yeah tires are wicked expensive. What kind of car are you driving now? When I had to buy tires they were usually $150+ each.

Sorry to hear about your father, I hope everything ends up ok, and $100 is cheap for a tire depending on your rim and tire size I've paid alot more for tires in the past

Haha, I was at work and looked up a 36" tire that we sell that retails at over $19k per tire. It's also not a truck tire.

Sorry to hear about you father man. I've seen many people (family members included) go through that and I know it's not easy. Especially with a father. Just know that you're not alone. Your fathers in my prayers.
