Post pics.

Those were pretty tough trucks for their time, but they degrade with age so be aware that you'll probably be spending a little money on maintaining it.

Only have one pic on my phone...ill try to post it they want 4k for it but in my option its more than I wanna spend on a 87 with 185k miles but then again I might b gettin a deal its got new tires and the interior only needs a cd player and headliner and the exterior has a couple of paint chiping marks but its a jeep its not suppose to b clean but it is one of the clearest I've seen.

A little insight....I have a 89 Jeep Cherokee Limited, power everything...econo and power mode transmission, 4x4, 4.0l, auto. with 31 in tires. Had 145k miles on it bought like 6-7 years ago for $1800, running and in good shape. I can not stress this one thing enough, check the cooling system, if it has a sealed system (no radiator cap, can't even hardly see the radiator) DO NOT buy it. These systems have serious problems with overheating, if I stop too long at a stop light it overheats...I have replaced everything, hoses, radiator, thermostat, overflow tank, etc. Just my .02, that's way too much for that Jeep.

Pretty much had the same story as slomaro, except mine was a 95, and didnt have the sealed cooling system. The engine and tranny are virtually indestructable, I wouldnt have a problem taking my old one across the country if needed. Bought it when it had 135k for 800 bucks, yup, 800 bucks. drove it till 255k, and the engine was still purring as if it was new, they are truly reliable if you get a decent one, but for 4k, I wouldnt even look at it, If I were to buy one today, I wouldnt pay over 2500, no matter the condition/miles, they can be had for so much cheaper. Just my 2 cents.

No lol that just there asking price I'm sure there is room for negotiation but. I figured somewhere between 3-3500 the kbb is 2700 and 900 in tires and like 500 in a lift but just wanted opinions I'm still looking around
