alot of play in the steering

i have alot of play in my steering on my 2000 acura integra. it has power steering, what would cause this and what do i need to fix it?

worn tie rod ends, Steering rack etc...

how do i check to see if its the rack? i was told the steering would be tight if the rack was bad and it would be the inner and outer tie rods if the steering was loose. i just dont want to spend money on a rack if its not bad or the tie rods.

Anyone know or have had this problem?
