I had my first kill today as well. I was coming home from school and this Prius was reving at me and wanted some of the Eve. Then we came across a red light and it was on. I watched the light as my heart was beating faster as the adrenaline was pumping away. Then the light turned green and everything became a blur after that. First and second went by so quick then came third and as i looked back the Prius got further away from the Eve's Dunka. And then it was all over. Better luck next time Mr. Prius. :goodjob:

accelerating as fast as you are. it is really a car that lives and wins at the

top end, with vtec hitting at like 4500rpm and lasting till 8500rpm+

with s2k springs, the power band of the vtec actually makes up for the lack

of torque in the low end.

ask the chipped and bolton 1.8t and vr6 owners that were blown away by

these cars.

hondata and new K-PRO really change these cars.

K-PRO is a full stand alone.

bolt ons :goodjob: (no internals) and i'm running an 4dr 01' so it is actually rated under the 02-05 1.8t my last dyno was 200whp/245lbs

i'm cool w/ both dig/roll... i just know from a dig its tuff - car is way too fucking heavy and they just aren't built for drag...

i need to get the car scanned this week... probably need another MAF sensor, so let me see what i can do about us meeting up this weekend

KPRO IS NOT A FULL STANDALONE.

the Skunk2 cams are only available in STAGE 1 which is similar to the DC5R cams. I have the only set of Stage 2s by Skunk2 right now for our RSX we are building.

IPS cams make pretty good power, and IMO itll be between the S2S2 and the IPS K2s to see who wins. IPS does some crazy shit but Skunk2 has the fastest K series all motor car in the world right now so they are doing something right.

A RSX S with 210whp couldnt beat my old GSR 1.8l that made 190whp.

However, a VW or Audi, with 200/245, would be interesting to see, cause they cant rev out like a Honda. Powerband will be the determining factor

Very true, its just certain ways to go about it. I wont lie after getting my G turbo'd I didnt think many streetable cars would be able to keep up then charles (ct9a gsr) goes and hands me my ass the very first race I had, I've been humble about it ever since.

Trust me when you get into running other modified cars a stock Z is average at best, especially with a mediocre driver.. talking sh*t or cockiness only makes you more of a target.

A lot of people don't do their cars themselves, boys and girls. If you are talking about the actual building of things like boring the motor and grinding cams, then I don't do my own work either. Because I don't have the machines to do it. But if you are talking about putting the parts together and putting the parts on the car, then I do it myself. But my boyfriend does help. I don't like to take off my wheels. Afraid I'll scratch the chrome so I make him do it. If I need help holding something up while putting bolts in he is there to help. But other than that he is over working on his while I work on mine. So, don't put all girls in the catagory of wanting to sit pretty, get guys attention, and trying to make people notice me or my car. Although my car does look pretty just sitting there. :D

But Val - great to hear you stick up for yourself and not caring what this girl thinks of you. I mean we can all go out and get a stock car, whatever it may be, and get on here talking trash. But I only have one problem with what you said earlier. Why are you trying to make a name for yourself? Are you doing organized racing or are you just talking about a name in the car scene? My comments weren't meant to put you on the defense, so I hope it didn't go there. It's hard to tell since I can't detect the tone of your voice. I was only trying to make some statements about some things that you posted and that are often assumed by a lot of others. The most important thing I was trying to get across is that it is not fair to think that women who have pink or loud things on their car are put there for the sole purpose of getting a certain type of attention (more than likeley mens attention), although there are probably many that do.

Maybe women should try to be a little more supportive of each others choices and try to understand a little more rather than jumping the gun and getting catty (sp?). Like I already said, I am advertising for our shop. Understandable I would think. You don't have to like it and that is OK. A lot of peope do..a lot of people don't. The point is that it is an eye catcher. When I drive to the grocery store and an old man stops me in the lat and talks to me abot my car because his son "loves that type of stuff" and then I see said gentleman at our shop several weks later with his sone for an SR swap....that's the point. This has happened BTW. Since the car is a daily driver, I get calls weekly from people who saw the car driving around and look on our site and call the shop. It does say BATLGROUND quite big all over it. Then there are the poeple who would neve otherwise look at a silver car twice because they don't even know what it is that ask me about it. That's the good stuff. When I get to tell people what we do and spark interest in people who would have been oblivious to the indusrty otherwise. The car is a marketing machine...inside and out. No matter who likes the desig, it's the truth. The sponsors also like it a lot. That means a lot to me since they help us to get the car to where it is. So it's not about what me or you or anyone else likes..it's about marketing.

I get e-mails all the time with links to the pics of this crazy car with the pink flames and hello kitty on it from people in other states where I race or just show up in my car. Would they have taken the pic otherwise. I don't know,maybe...maybe not. Most of the time they are pics of the outside of the car...not under the hood. And believe me, girl, I have had a lot of boys get beat by my car and they always have something to say about the hello kitty, not everyone lives on IA or other forums for that matter. That's where the shock value comes in. I can't tell you what they are thinking, I can just tell you that they are shocked to be beat by a girl driving a car with hello kitty on it....and I think it's funny.

I feel you are getting upset over a SIMPLE 2 way DISCUSSION. The internet sucks because you cannot hear tone of voice. Maybe a few more smileys would help :). It's not you place to weed people out. But I'm glad that you could be serious for 1 minute. BTW, I don't HAVE to do anything. I may not be an enthusiast in the true sense of the word. I started in all of this because I never got to see Dan and he loved it. I have grown to love it, I say that all of the time. In that resepct I am like a lot of girls...I do it for a man. Am I allowed to do that? Am I allowed to have started for one reason and do it now for another? I don't instigate the props people give to e. I try to be humble, I guess you don't see that. I am always honest about what I do and why. I don't want to misinform anyone. I don't think there is anything wrong with what I am doing. And I don't care if you do.
