My civic won't pass emissions. Still original motor with 277k miles. It's a 93 experience model. Does anybody know someone who could help pass my emissions? I live in gwinnett. I've also got a clicking noise from my front wheels whenever I turn from a standstill.any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you done a tune up? If not, you should. Change your oil, spark plugs, oil/air filter, etc. Also do you have any CEL's? The ticking noise might be your cv axles but im 100% sure. Maybe someone else on here knows. Good luck man.

The issue is that the engine is smoking so I think it has some motor issues. Had a problem with the car overheating this summer that I was able to resolve. Thanks.

What color is the smoke?
Regardless, though, if it's smoking it probably won't pass.

The color is a basic grey.

Light smoke is usually coolant. Dark smoke is usually oil. As for the ticking sound when you turn, that's likely to be an axle but could also be a bearing.
