Well I will be getting with a couple of the "usual" preludepower members to organize the next lude meet here in Ga. for all the ga ludes and accords from the surrounding states. But I will need to get feedback from everyone on a neutral place, time, and date for the meet. So SOUND OFF and shoot us some ideas. Looking foward to hearing from everyone soon. Peace-DK

And thats what we need. We've had plenty of meets here in the "A" to where people from TN, FL, SC, AL have come to attend so why not have one close enough to them to cancel out all reasons for not showing :). But of course the Varsity is always a good fall back, just nothing to do up there but mingle and swap knowledge/stories.

Yeah I know. The V will be the spot if we can't decide on anything else. But I say start by picking a decent time. Probably best to start the meet sometime around Mid-Day(12-2) when it's the warmest.

Yeah I'm not planning to have the meet until the beginning of next year. Wanted it around Jan or Feb. Might have to rethink the multi state meet and just keep it home. If people come they just come. So the default place would be the Varsity but whats another decent venue that atleast has food? And do you think anyone would show up to a meet if it were sooner? Say December.

1. spacious

Man thats cool. This would be good for you then. Mingle, learn from everyone elses problems, ask questions, find out what worked for them what didn't, hell have fun and learn. I'll be glad to help you out in any way possible. Trust me my lude has been a work in progress for the past few years so you'll be more than welcome at the meet.

But to be considerate of the people that want to "meet&greet" before a run thats cool. We can do a quick meet at the V next month. Then decide from there. But even if we did have a meet in the mountains you know you have a choice whether to run or not. Thats just for the people that wanted to. Like me.

Yes it does but of course (ex.) If 10 people show up and 3 want to run, those 3 people will run and the other 7 will choose not to run and just enjoy a nice cruise. Me personally I feel like you can tell alot about a persons skill level based on how they drive. So I don't mind riding out with people I'm not familiar with. We always go for a cruise after the meets and it's always "ground rules" set before we leave just for the reason of unfamiliarity. But yet again I'll restate that I understand yalls point.

No good. Thats when we normally have our Jan meet. We'll set up a "meet&greet" in the beginning or the middle of december. Preferably the beginning to allow time between this and the actual meet. Depending on what time you have this set for, I might swing by the Varsity. This is the same day as the Winter S2000 meet, so I will be on my way to Perimeter for that. Also RED TOP (if that is the Lake Alatoona ) spot we used to meet, does not have to be reserved. Just the big covered spot, but the parking lot is 1st come 1st served, and the small grills are there for the taking. But keep in mind, normal people (not in the car world) more than likely will not be wanting to stand around a pit fire, grilling in the cold weather.

And I can not help it I have a full time job that takes more of my time that I used to have. At least I do show up for some if not all meets, and everyone knows I also drive farther than anyone else.

Jeremy, that's the spot I used to have the accord/prelude meets at. You don't have to reserve it, but it assures that YOU have the covered area for the day, otherwise anyone can use it, and anyone else can reserve it. So if we get up there and a family reunion is going on, we're SOL.

Out of all the times we have been there in the past, there was not one person that paid to park. Also where are we supposed to pay? There is not a booth with an attendant, to collect.

Well If not too many people disagree, I'll plan for it to be on The first Saturday of the new year like all the other prelude meets. Which would be 1/7/12. But if thats too soon then I'll postpone it until the 14th.

Ok people let me know if going further south is too much for yall. But I'd like to NOT be the only prelude at Import Face-Off this upcoming year. So we can hold a FEB meet at Silverdollar raceway in Reynolds, Ga. on 2/19/12. All day drag racing, socializing, and cheap seat time...... can't beat that at all.

Jan meet will be kept in city until the summer due to possible low temps. Summer meet will be in the mountains or somewhere up north to allow easy access for surrounding states. JAN 14th will be our next LUDE&ACCORD meet. Same time, same place. Hope to see everyone there.

I highly doubt he will run 13.99 or quicker nevertheless with any consistency.

A few of us wanted to get some legal runs in for the feb meet so I set it to be at Import-Face off, but the next one will more than likely be much closer to Atl, if not at the Varsity. Just a heads up though, the big summer meet will more than likely be in the mountains, so stay tuned......
