well i would like to share to the community a build i have going on- my last setup was a 84mm b20v on pr03 cams with supertech valvetrain...after 10k miles of abuse/daily driving and 9k revs the retainer decided to fall apart...almost dropping a valve..some said its ok to run pro3s on supertechs/daily/ etc etc... some say dont...well i took a chance.. and learned from my own experience.
new setup going to machine shop monday- hopefully to get her running for IFO.showdown

The reason I like this one.. I can still use my Full size Aluminum Radiator! It doesnt stick out as far, like the Kiddracing, or what not... And still makes good power!

Kidd racing doesnt hit a full size radiator but i still prefer the logic both nice headers both make power. Im glad to see another h2b project good luck man .

In a EG? Maybe in a Teg.. But that Kidd racing comes SUPER close to the core support.. No room for my Full Aluminum. But the Logic is perfect.

Havent started putting the engine together yet. Its kinda on the back burner.. We just had my son, So this particular build has to wait a few.. I still have LOTS H2b parts I have been saving.. Just dont have the Mahle pistons I want, Nor the Head fully built yet..

Only thing that sucks bout the header is ur gonna have redo the portion that goes under oil pan, if I'm not mistaken. Used a header recently exactly like that and we had to. Other then that looks decent

Why would he have to redo it? Its made for H2B and this is the first ive heard of this from anybody with that header...

maybe hes talking about the rmf style header? cause this is specifically fitted for h2b.... in my case b2h

Yea I'm a noob but I've done 3 h2bs and the last one we used a header identical to this one, and had to get the header re-done. If this is the logic header then yes it will fit. If its not the header from logic it won't fit without re-doing it. But suit ur self, just thought ide help out. Since I've done this enough to know

what he is probably trying to say is that these headers are prone to be miss-shaped, and may point towards the sky when installed, from what I have seen, or they may sit too low/ hit the oil pan. I think it varys from header batches.

Finally some1 with some sense. I have shopped for h2b headers and the only one that lines up straight is the logic motorsports header. All the other ones are made for straight h and have to be modified. Well back to the build. No need to ruin the thread

The r was made for a h to h not a h2b so that might be why it doesnt fit right . We sent jasons header to be copied back when mike sent them and it was built for the h to h that made 227hp not for a h2b . Wasnt it 227 james ? Hell its been 6 or 7 years i cant remember all this shit lol.
