Troops will in fact be out of Iraq by years end, but the troops will remain in Afghanistan until 2014. Now with that being said, with the way things are going, the troops will be based out of Afghanistan and fighting in Pakistan and Iran. Dont for a moment attempt to kid yourselves on thinking that war in both of those countries is not on the horizon...

I find myself conflicted on this issue. On one hand I agree with Ron Paul that we are in countries that we need not be (etc usual Ron Paul bit about ALL troops need to come home), however on the other I am worried about a lack of presence of US troops in the region as well. Even with a joke of a leader like Obama, our military is feared throughout the world... For the moment.

Okay well me clear some things up here.................... As I am currently in IRAQ! We got here in July, and our orders say 365 days. We were told we got cut short and were going home in November, but now our unit chain of command say no we are staying. And that was right after our Boss(president) said hey everyone is coming home in Dec. We have been told we will reside in Kuwait till mid Feb. pulling security back and forth from kuwait to Iraq to get the rest of stuff out of Iraq. So dont let this propaganda fool you. Also if you think Iran is not a threat, THINK AGAIN! They have an actual army, and are tactical. It would be worse then this 9 year war in less time. Just letting you know. Thanks guys for the support thoug. and to my battle in the A. Hold it DOwn homie. ;)

I base my facts off of my chain of commands. Im here and thats what were told. These are the facts! he said we will be pulled out of Iraq; heres the KICKER! but my unit an also 20=30k troops will be sitting in Kuwait beginning to middle of next year. Will all be sitting in kuwait still doing missions in and out of Iraq and probably waiting for something to pop off. He didnt say that, but thats what was put down in our briefing this morning. BTW he is #1 in my chain of command. So thats the FACTS! BTW we dont have cable just internet. Noone knew of the presidents speech till after our brief. Sooooooooooo you do the math.
We will treat Iraq like North Korea is now. We will use a close country like Kuwait to have soldiers stationed there in case something was to happen. Think about it. We as America/military will always have our foot all the way in or keeping the door open in hostel countries or countries that cant sustain themselves.

and if your wondering its getting worse here as far as attacks. and on top of that the bases theres 2 that we have in kuwait are meant to only hold 10k troops at a time. They are all over stacked by 5-7k. We have soldiers sleeping on the floor/ground. But there will be alot of us coming home in DEC.. He will use military troops for his campaign. Obama will have news crews there to see us off the plane and he might be at a couple of bases in America to make speeches, and shake hands, kiss babies, etc. How do I know this we have been briefed on how to act and to stay clear of certain things we say in cased interviewed. Its all Propaganda!
